Maybe I can help you with the second one.
It's really simple...
If we presume that 30 is 100%, and 15 is half of 30, then it is also half of 100, so 50%.
Does it works for you?  ;)

ALHersey, post question 4 again. Its data is incomplete. Now the methods for the four problems are

For 1: Write 0.4/0.08 as (4/10)/(8/100) and then try to solve it.
For 2: Percentage is calculated by the formula (x/y)x100%, where x is the amount(here, 15) and y is the total value(here, 30)
For 3:You can write 2 1/2 as 5/2, 3 3/4 as 15/4 and 4 3/5 as 23/5. Now follow the rules of addition.
Or else, you can simply add the whole number part (4+3-2) and the fraction part(3/5+3/4-1/2) separately and then add them to get the result.
For 4: This one is based on the assumption that you know the points. Simply, put the coordinates as x and y. (Example: To check if (3,5) satisfies the given condition, put 3 as x and 5 as y. Both sides of the '=' sign should be equal for the point to satisfy the condition.)
Have you checked this out yet?

Thank u guys so much n yes my mistake Q4 is

Which of the following points is on the line y= 2x+1 ?

I hope this Q isnt incomplete. N also Q3 i didnt get the rite answer n also can u show me how u solved this one

2 1/2 = 5/2
3 3/4 = 15/4
4 3/5 = 23/5

I got it how u did the downside proplem bt the upper one like tis one {2 1/2 = 5/2}. I understand the 2 bt the 5. How??

For fractions like that you take the whole number and multiply it with the Denominator (bottom half of the fraction), then add the Numerator (the top number) and put it over the Denominator. here's some examples:
2 3/4= 2 x 4 + 3 =11/4
5 1/5= 5 x 5 +1= 26/5
4 1/3= 4 x 3 + 1= 13/3

so for your 2 1/2 problem you multiply 2 x 2, then add 1 and put it all over 2 like this:
2 1/2= 2 x 2 +1 = 5/2

Thanks!!!...

I wanna to know if i did this one right,

m/n-2m/5n

SOL:

n/m+2m/5n = 3m/5n

And also.. Can u tell me the Formula or the RULE of how to solve word problem.

Q: A pair of sandals is on sale for 30% off the regular price. If the regular price is 400QR, What is the sale price?

IS it correct??.

Sometimes word problems will try to throw you off with unneccesary information. It doesn't matter that they're sandals. Ignore it. All you need is 30% off regular price and regular price is 400.

400 times .3 (move decimal two places to the left) is 120
But 120 is not your answer. You now have to take this and subtract it from your original price
400 - 120 = 280.

I hope this helped. :)
