I enjoyed this book immensely and now wait for the 2nd in the trilogy. Kara Timmins has created a world and characters that had me turning the page and not putting the book down until I completed the book. each chapter hooked me in a little more. I loved the friendship of Eloy and Corwin, and the way they faced adversity. If you are a fan of Philip Pullman this is a book for you.
I am not a complete idiot, some parts are missing    :)
