I downloaded some stuffs in amazon earlier. It's free. I saw the book called "Fairy Tales Every Child Should Know". I opened it and here's the list of fairy tales in the book:

ONE EYE, TWO EYES, THREE EYES (Grimm's Fairy Tales)
THE MAGIC MIRROR (Grimm's Fairy Tales)

THE HISTORY OF ALI BABA, AND OF THE FORTY ROBBERS KILLED BY ONE SLAVE ("Arabian Nights' Entertainments")
THE SECOND VOYAGE OF SINDBAD THE SAILOR ("Arabian Nights' Entertainments")
THE WHITE CAT (From the tale by the Comtesse d'Aulnoy)
THE GOLDEN GOOSE (Grimm's Fairy Tales)
THE TWELVE BROTHERS (Grimm's Fairy Tales)
THE FAIR ONE WITH THE GOLDEN LOCKS (From the tale by the Comtesse d'Aulnoy)
TOM THUMB (First written in prose in 1621 by Richard Johnson)
BLUE BEARD (From the French tale by Charles Perrault)
CINDERELLA; OR, THE LITTLE GLASS SLIPPER (From the French tale by Charles Perrault)
PUSS IN BOOTS (From the French tale by Charles Perrault)
THE SLEEPING BEAUTY IN THE WOOD (From the French tale by Charles Perrault)
JACK AND THE BEAN-STALK (Said to be an allegory of the Teutonic Al-fader, The tale written in French by Charles Perrault)
JACK THE GIANT KILLER (From the old British legend told by Geoffrey of Monmouth, of Corineus the Trojan)
LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (From the French tale by Charles Perrault)
THE THREE BEARS (Robert Southey)

Here's a link from Amazon: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

It's free as long as you have kindle or other devices. You could also download kindle for PC if you don't have Kindle Fire or something. :)

Just search "Children's Books" or Fairy Tales or Grimm's Fairy Tales and they should come up. :)

These websites summarize the daily free children's books Amazon offers.

You can also go to the Amazon website directly and click:
Books -> Children's books -> [Category] -> [Format: Kindle Edition] ->[Sort: Price: Low to high]
Amazon will show you the cheapest books ($0.00) first.

tuebl has a lot - browse by tag "Children"  there's a couple hundred or so there.  Also, I'm uploading a list of books I have - tagged by age recommendation from amazon - you can request over there if you see something you'd like to have or send me a message.
Suzanne

Thank you so much for the list!!!! Great resource for someone like me who is just starting to look at kids lit :)

Suze I would love to have a copy of all of the ebooks you have listed on that list.  I just bought an ereader for my daughters who are 7 and 9.  My 9 year old is reading at a 7th grade level.  The ereader is a christmas gift and I would love to have it loaded with books for them.  You can email me at angelblade131 @ hotmail . com or at me.com

And just when I thought I had went through my list of websites :D I found one more which has both recent and not so recent titles (again, both for children and adults). :)  Their copyrights have either expired (public domain books) or books shared by the authors themselves.  A lot of links are from Project Gutenberg but there's even more goodies! It's:

which includes books like:

Enjoy. :-*

Apostrophe deliberately left-off in subject heading for ease of searchability :)
