So I am at this point where I don't have a lot of books left that I’m really eager to read so I'm hoping that perhaps someone is willing to help me find new authors and books that I will like.
I thought I’d write who my favorite authors are, and what I like so that someone like-minded could recommend a new author that I haven’t discovered.
My favorite authors are probably Lynsay Sands, Erin McCarthy, and Katie MacAlister and Gena Showalter, but I also think Cherry Adair, J.C. Wilder, Kelley Armstrong, Nalini Singh and Christine Feehan are pretty awesome.
When it comes to the genre, I’m not too picky, but I tend to lean towards the supernatural romances and I prefer when they are a bit more lighthearted and are more humorous, although as long as they are humorous and “romantic” I’m a happy camper. Like I said, I love Erin McCarthy, Lynsay Sands and Katie MacAlister and they wrote on other topics than just vampires.
When it comes to love and sex I think they are a necessary to any book but I don’t want it to just be about the sex. For example I started books by Lori O’claire and Lora Leigh, but I found that they were not quite want I wanted. I think they were just too heavy on the dominating alpha males and sex (not that I mind either up to a certain point), and dark disturbing backgrounds. Actually even Christine Feehan ventured a little too far for me to be comfortable at times in some of the Dark books, and in particular in the last novel of Drake sisters. I actually even stopped reading ghost walkers…
If anyone could help that would be much appreciated!
Also, highly recommend the above authors and I have posted almost all books by each author except for Gena Showalter, Kelley Armstrong and Nalini Singh.
