Please need help finding a book. It starts out with a female ER Dr or surgeon walking home in the rain and a mist appears and she walks through it and ends up on another world. The people live in tribes. She is to be mated to 3 men. One of them gets hurt very badly and she saves him with her skills. The people or tribe is in awe.  In another book her best friend is trying to find her and the same thing happens to her but she shows up with a different tribe.

Thank you so much for then help!!!!

Thought we had it but I was wrong.

The only similar thing I can think of is My Captor, My Love by Leah Matheny.

But I think she isn't mated to three people in this book. :)

This is a short book. It's a brother's best friend theme.

All I remember was that the guy was rich and he and h were in love but h was naive because she thought the guy doesn't think of her that way but eventually she realized it. I know they got married. The problem in their story was that someone who works for H sent an old pic that made showed H was cheating on h but that wasn't the case. H was on a business trip that time. So h left broken hearted and learned that she was pregnant. H I think went looking for her and eventually found her and went to her room and saw the picture that he realized was the reason for h leaving him. H learned who the culprit was and blackballed her from getting better work. H went to h and told her everything and they got together again. Later, they went to a restaurant I think and their waitress was none other than the female who sent the picture. She asked for H to rescind what he did since that was the only job that accepted her. H told her if she apologized to h.

Oh, I'm not sure but I think her brother died and not sure of the cause.

hello  :)

I'm looking for a story I read some time ago and forgot title and author.
It's an MC story. The H/h meet when He's driving his motorcycle and crashes and She stops to help him, He's in a bad frame of mind because He just had to kill his sister who was spying for a rival gang (he has BIG trust issues). She (h) has recently  moved to town after the death of her father and has opened a small card and gift shop. She later discovers that her father lied to her about her mother dying when she was a child when in fact she had left them for another man with whom she'd had an affair and was in fact her real father who happens to be a mob boss this is reveled at the end of the book and through this connection she prevents a war between the mob and the MC or something like that.
I hope someone can help me with a title for this story.
 Please help!

EDIT: B.E.Love found it for me. Big thanks! Elayne DiSano - For Your Sake (Mountain Skulls MC #1)

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me out. Trying to remember the title has been so frustrating.

I read it a couple years ago on smashwords for free and I know it was free on amazon (I saw it last year).

I think it's historical and it's definitely a western romance. So the town/village has been hit by a plague of some sort where the h (a school teacher I think) basically saves all the men of the village. Afterwards she is given a reward where she is allowed to choose what she wants. Apparently she is 'ugly' and she really wants a baby. So the all the men draw straws and one guy draws the short straw. He is mad because he is engaged (I think) to someone else- a rich girl, her dad is the owner of the next town's bank where he lives.

They get married and obviously problems occur (cold winter affects cattle, the ex) but there's a happily ever after.

I hope this is enough info.

Looking for a contemporary romance. It is an MC or perhaps bodyguard book. It is part of a series, but I don't remember any of the books or the author. So, the book starts off with the hero meeting the heroine in a grocery store and inviting her and her friends to a pool party. She shows up and it turns out she is underage while he is in his 20's and he is in the military. I believe that he is getting ready to deploy and that is what the party is for. Anyway, it's love at first sight but because of the age difference they remain just friends. The hero deploys, comes home and they run off to vegas and get married. While there the hero has horrible nightmares and leaves abandons the heroine at the hotel. There is some back and forth between the two, she wants to stay together and he wants a divorce because he thinks she deserves better. Finally he just leaves, for a few years I think... after this I'm really not sure what happens. I know they are separate for several years, I think she sends him divorce papers, the heros friends tell him he needs to cut her loose or get his s.h.i.t together. In the end she forgives him and they get back together.

So any idea what the name of this book is?

Edit: I remembered a bit more.  I'm pretty sure the h had H's  baby, but he didn't know because when she went to tell him he freaked out seeing her and his friends sent her away, telling her that she was hurting him and to leave him alone. So she didn't tell him. He finds out after he goes to see her a few years later. I'm pretty sure the friend that sent her away was the hero in book 1 of the series.

I can't find this book, and I never finished reading it.

It's a historical / medieval setting. The heroine is kept in a tower or an old castle with only a maid for help. She is very beautiful, but also blind. The hero is sent by someone to marry her or something, and he falls in love with her at first sight. I can't remember what happened next, I think there was snow...?  :P :tearsofjoy:

Thanks for any suggestions!

Aaaand I remembered another mystery. This one was contemporary. The heroine was either mute, or had another similar disability. She worked as a secretary/assistant to the hero, he was some kind of CEO. She was very good at her job. I think they corresponded through e-mails... That's all I can remember.

I think the book might have been in the Hannah howell series
(Highlander)
A girl has a scar down her face
From nearly getting raped in ( I think it was the stables) but she fought him off
Other girl died from the rapist
Her parents believe she is no longer purer

Maybe she also got whipped or something and her maid clean the wounds and she might also have pet but that might be for another book in her series or somewhere else

Maybe she had 2 sisters the highlander was going to pick from but maybe not

Your help will be appreciated
Even if you guess a few books

Sincerely
Tayla

And she is in foster care

They realise her baby was taken by people on the black market
But when the get there the couple  who took her baby didn't want her baby because she was partly blind
And they end up at another dead end

I would really appreciate if you could help me as I have been look for years for the book

Sincerely

Looking for a contemporary romance book about the heroine taking pictures at the beach but then the hero got angry at her because he thought she was taking pictures of him. The hero used to be a famous actor duing his teens but something happened along the way but he's still famous but not as much. I remembered that the heroine's parents died in an accident and they left her a big inheritance. I think her father was a famous lawyer or something. And that the hero's family (mother and sister I think) did not like her at first because they thought she was a gold digger.

Hi! I am looking for a book, but I can not for the life of me remember what it was. Alright, I will do my best to describe it.

The book itself is either pink or red, it is an urban romance. The main character is Billy -she is a editor for cosmetic? I think. She has migraines, K? I guess, the guy in the book is a writer and I think Billy has to write an article on him. K, is reluctant to give up his past and he used to be a drug dealer and he helped a girl beat drugs and he even purchased a hair salon for her. Billy only dated one guy in college and her parents smoked a lot of weed. I read this book about 5 or 6 years ago, please help!
