Hello Brains trust,

I am looking for a series where the Heroine lives and works in a lighthouse. I am pretty sure that it is a library and it is deemed a historic building.

She got the job over someone else who expected to just walk in as she was a local born & bread etc. The local woman attempts to scare her off the job by saying that the lighthouse is haunted etc  and attempts to scare her off with various noises.

I think she also got in a set of rare books and one goes missing.

*I thought at first it was Jenn McKinlay's Library Lovers series but sadly it is not. I had it on my Laptop but it died and then I think I got the next in the series re found them put them on an external and sadly it is also dying.

Any ideas thoughts suggestions greatly appreciated..   :-*

I FOUND IT !!!!  Eva Gates is the Author and the series is called Lighthouse Library Mystery Series

Hi I need some help please I'm looking for a Antology book but I can't remember the title or any of the authors.

One of the stories is about 2 twin brothers each has their on story in this Antology the boys hangout in a pub/bar because they are watching over to girls who are best friends they only come to pub to see the brothers. When the women leave the brothers follow and save them from men in the alley who try to attack them. The brothers take them to their penthouse I think.
Also I think the brothers might be princes or kings.
Thank you

I think it was written by Jayne Ann Krentz

Family book - number of old people
Uncle died - left will/money to one person whose name is (I think) Pandora?
Attempted murder by old man - who is uncle - pretending to need wheelchair and was a mobster
Aunt (I think) Bertie? killed/hurt him with knitting needle - the man is/was her husband

(It's not the Will and the Way by Nora Roberts - which is a little similar, nor is it Elda Minger's Billion Dollar Baby)

Family book - romance

Grandfather (I think) died - left will/money to one person whose name is (I think) Pandora?

Uncle attempted to kill her numerous times - the uncle has been pretending to need wheelchair and was in his youth a mobster - he is married to Aunt Bertie

Towards the end of the aunt Bertie stabs him (her husband) with a knitting needle - she has in fact hated him for years

Bad guy (Bertie's husband) owed mega-money to mob who thought he would get part of the inheritance, but it all went to Pandora who loved all of her relatives, even though most of them were "a waste of space".

I thought it was written by Jayne Ann Krentz - but she says not.

Please help.

I need help finding the name of the author.  :D :D :D :D :D

I have a book called Tequila Thursdays in by ebook library but it's missing the cover, copyright page and everything else except for the title.

I was hoping someone would recognize it and be able to tell me who the author is.

I'll post a snippet of it, the main character's names are Rachel and Michael. Rachel's best friend is named Claire:

Here I am again asking for someone to help me find a title for a series.
It's pretty old I guess.
All I remember of this series is in one of the books there are twins called copper and crimson.
It's about vampires.
if i remember correctly its the 3rd book in the series that has the twins. the first one is vamp meets girl, cant have her cause shes human, yada yada yada, the usual spiel. she ends up being this way powerful vamp.
the 3rd book with the twins is not a 3some but the one named crimson mates with a vamp. (i might have it wrong and its the otherway around when it comes to the girls names) evil twin copper tries to fool him at some point into thinking shes crimson but thats only for like a couple of pages nothing major. hes this badass with a heart of gold. takes in street kids. has a boy and a girl living with him and the girl tries to pull some crap with crimson cause shes jealous, again the usual spiel.
Please help! I can't seem to remember anything else and I sooo want to reread this series. I tried to google by just the names but this isn't showing me the results I want.  :'( :-\ :'( :-\ :'(

I can't remember the name of this book I read since it has been awhile, but this one scene keeps replaying over and over and over again.

OMG!!! I'm driving myself crazy for the last 24 hours and I even tried googling but it didn't help.

I'm hoping someone from this wonderful site will recognize the scene and remember it.  Thanks in advance!

Okay, where I start remembering is her and this guy sneak off to steal a sword or dagger that has the blood of many on it. A demon told her she had to have it and so her companion took her to his old mafia boss's residence where they break into the mafia boss who raised him and he just abandoned then years before. So when he comes back all doesn't go well finally they escape on a motorcycle with the boss trailing after, when all of a sudden wendigos attack and they crash. The boss ends up saving them and off those two go again.

That is the scene but while writing it I remember a couple things I think go with this book but I'm not 100% sure. It is a reverse harem so it can't be that old it must just be me getting old.

The book starts with her seeing a demon murder a guy in an alley then the nephew of the guy finds her and asks for her help she goes off with him and he has two friends but while away her best friend is murdered. Also there was a spider man necklace with the quote from Uncle Ben on it. Thanks for anyone who can help.

Since you weren't sure of all the things, could this be Kane's Mate by Hazel Gower? Her name is Faith and I remember she definitely had a half-demon half-brother. And the hero, Kane, is a shifter, but he's the ER doctor, not her. Still, could this be what you're looking for?

I am looking for a book that I read a few years ago and really liked.
I only remember a few things.. It is set in a college. The boy makes the girl come out of her shell.. There is a scene at the astronomy tower where they share a kiss. There is a pet turtle named Raphael.
Also, maybe the guy is involved on boxing/wrestling??
I would really like to read this book again. Appreciate your help :)

J. Lynn – Wait For You (Wait For You #1)
Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

Hi! So I’ve been looking for this book since I got out of juvie. Lol. I was a rebel, anyway, this book kept me sane for the 30 days that I was there. This was like 11 years ago, and it was a romance book written in the 80’s or 90’s.It’s a harlequin romance I belive. It’s about these two people that used to be Highschool/college or young lovers or in a relationship, they decide to later open their own therapy practice. They have a group therapy to help troubled teens, and there’s I belive a teen that was kidnapped and only speaks in text speak or only texts or something like that, and that’s all that I can remember. It was a really good book. I think the main heroin was raped when she was younger. I know that’s not a lot to go on, but hopefully someone’s read the book.

Anyone know this book?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a book that I've read a few times. It's starts with the H and h engaged, the Hs father wants the H to date a woman he chose, and is constantly pushing this woman at the H. He doesn't help by going to work parties on his own and lying about this woman being there. The h has had enough and leaves him. She returns a little later to attend the fathers funeral where she is going to tell the H she is either pregnant or had the baby. She doesn't tell him as I think the other woman is there. Later on the H discovers that he's a father and starts custody proceedings. The Hs friends push him to take full custody but he has a change of heart. I think the little child has a thing for Elmo and the H and h throw an Elmo themed birthday party for him
