Hey guys!!

Sooooooooo I just read The Misapprehension of Bella Swan by hunterhunting and I have no idea how I missed this fic............because I have never read it, but OMGGGGGG hockeyward is amazing and a favorite of mine and this fic is fabulous & hilarious & lemony & and I loved it

Bella is freaking crazy, funny, and neurotic in this fic and Edward is this awkward, sweet, gorgeous hockey player. Where has this fic been all my life?!

Do you guys know of any other hockeyward fics I may have missed?

The program what I am looking for should read those books on SD card.
It is easiest to add new books and fanfics to the card, and start to read

I download directly to my tablet, rename, back up to my Google drive, then move the files to my books folder on my tablet SD card. I read all formats using eReader Prestigio. It catalogs everything automatically. I limit that to my books folder on my SD card, but it can pick up every kind of file on the device.

It's not perfect, but I like it. No problems with pdf or mobi, though I DL mostly epubs for size reasons. I don't read much on my computer, but when I do, I just pull from my Google drive (where everything has been backed up) or Bluetooth it from my tablet.

I know she published it to a series called Pucked, I read the sequel last night, they just had different names. I do love that story ;-)

Yea, I think I've read most of the hockeyward stories already, just wanted to know if I missed any like the MoBS. I can't believe I never read it until yesterday.

I decided to take a break from my Atlanteans (still reading Alyssa Day's crazy world full of vamps, shape shifters, and other magical folk) and try a FSoG fanfiction, assuming that I'd be able to replace the Twilight crew easily. While that turns out to be true, I didn't pick the right one. It's one those 'Bella is a child prodigy and oh-so-smart, yet cannot speak English properly'. Which is particularly annoying in this fic because she just passed the bar exam and became a lawyer at 22 years of age. (Oh, I meant Ana. Whatever.)

So, I started reading Alynelovesyou'sYou are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, which has a really interesting AU. The vamps are a separate species that are super everything as usual, except they don't have the physical capacity for human speech (kind of like Ehd). Because of this, the humans think of them as very strong and fast animals. Pretty strange, but interesting and allows me to ignore the SPaGs (just ignore the ANs at all costs). About a third in so far and looking forward to seeing where this goes. The sequel is an active WIP.

Reminds me of another mating story that I read recently with an interesting AU. Some challenging material (slavery at its worst), but worth reading despite the horrible SPaGs. Check out:

I've kind of avoided PDFs until I got my iPad air. iBooks works well with PDFs. My other tablet gets too heavy after a while. But I was using Mantano Reader or Moon Reader. I liked both.

On the iPad, I also have Good Notes that works with PDFs well. I use that more for non-fiction stuff, like school stuff.

I recently read a published Pride and Prejudice sequel, which I thought read a lot like fanfiction. Although, in reality, I guess all those published works out there taking classics beyond their original boundaries, are fanfiction.

I had a lot of fun reading Fly Away Home by LyricalKris in which Edward (Bella's 'guardian' angel) decides to meet her. She works at a comic book store, so she educates him to fandoms and fiction. It's really entertaining, though it becomes more meaningful later, as it also makes him understand humanity in ways he never understood before. Excerpt for kicks:

So I finally read Bound To a Secret By Struckatthesky and the sequel which can be found You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Vampward with some time travelly stuff. Edward and Bella meet and fall in love in 1918. Bella's family goes back to New York just before Edward and his family "die" from the spanish flu. Only Bella somehow has a burning sensation for 3 days and then is now immortal, but not a vampire.

There are a lot of strange things that happen. And, it is a mating story. You really have to read both to get the full story because the end kind of leaves you hanging. The second part ends really well. Then there is the outtake. I almost recommend against reading it. It changes the ending very strangely. And actually leaves it open for another sequel. There is some angsty stuff, but nothing really horrible, well nothing that gets dragged out forever.

Actorward. Bella sends Edward a fan letter that is a little different which he reads at a time he is at the end of his rope. He calls the number in the letter and finds a good friend in Bella, who lives in Texas. I'm about a quarter of the way through and they still haven't met in person. So it will be a slow burn. They are trying to just keep it friends, partially because Edward is afraid all the fame stuff he has to put up with will send her running and Bella is afraid she will fall in love with him and he will still think of her as just a friend.

Sometimes reading B/E stories ruins the surprise, because you know if it is going to be HEA, they are at some point going to get together. She won't mind the stupid paps and he will love her forever.....

But I'm enjoying it so far....
