Thanks so much, super creep!
I'm creating a new TBR list just now. A list inside a list inside a list....and I keep forgetting where I wrote down the lists.

I started with Trippin, Slippin, Stumbletumblin yesterday and I'm definitely intrigued! I didn't expect it to be a Vampward story, but I don't mind if it's good.

Did I not say it was Vampward in my rec? Sorry. I'm glad you're reading though; I so loved that story, though I hold it responsible for starting this whole Twific malarky, and setting my expectation way too high, it will always have a very special place in my heart  ^-^

She has continued this story but not as fanfiction....if you don't mind original-fiction, Here is where you can find the story now. It's still a WIP but she has been good with updates.

She just finish where the one-shot stops I believe, she said the next chapter is with her beta. I haven't read it yet because I am  :chicken: and have to wait till it's complete or I will go crazy waiting.  :-\

Now you see, when they go off the reservation I find it hard to keep track of their stories. How do you track a story on Wattpad, anyway? Maybe you can let me know when it's complete?  :-*

Here's more!

Bad Habit: Book One
By: AmeryMarie You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
Bella has a bad habit. She's been secretly involved, and secretly in love, w/her friends brother for yrs. Will she ever admit her love or will misunderstandings, interfering friends & betrayal help her kick the habit? AH/OOC, MATURE

^^^ This reminds me of Dusty, not because it's beautifully written, but because I hoped that this Edward and Bella would hop in a car and drive off a cliff. I did not have it saved, so I had to do some digging to find the title. It only fits the manwhore quota. I can't be held responsible for any rage that comes from reading this.

 Oi!Play nice!  :D  :D Too funny!

It's the "Book-One" in the title that has kept me from reading this story I have yet to come across a Book-Two so...

Thanks for the correct link! Bad Habit: Book One actually has a sequel but it hasn't been updated in more than two years. I think it's just weird that only in fanfiction would there be a point in creating drama by having a secret relationship with your best friends older brother. In real life, there were more instances of friends crushing on and dating your friends older brothers than I could count on one hand. I don't think I ever knew anyone that got mad at a friend for dating her brother, only warning the friend that it could end badly and be awkward for everyone.

WITH THAT SAID, I'm trying to reread another story that falls under the Secret Love Affair With Your Best Friend's Older Brother umbrella. Unplanned Perfection by littlecat358. I read this one and totally forgot just how much drama is packed into one story, it's so ridiculous. Usually there's one or two plot points that a story centers around tries to work through but this just read like a soap opera if you make a list of all the instances. I'll put them under a cut for those that might not have read it and don't want to be spoiled.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Eventually there's a happily ever after, but it's after all of that mess. Can any of you remember the most dramatic stories you've read?

I have to admit I LOVE Unplanned Perfection and read it many times, but I do agree with you that there is too much drama packed into one story she could of split it into 2 instead.

I have to take back my original statement, because if I really think about it, it's probably every 1/3 stories I read that have some over the top drama crammed into the same story. Unplanned Perfection was good, and I really enjoy it, but I was sitting there reading last night trying to remember if it was the same story that had the crazy co-worker who photographed all the drunk men she slept with, or if it was another story. Surely it couldn't be the very same story I was reading? Because there's that crazy plot hatched by Tanya towards the end, and that's way too much drama, can't be the same story right? I was wrong! Same story.

I can't think of any more off the top of my head, but SexyLexiCullen has her Mobward stories that just have so much going on, and she's going on the fourth part of those characters. I remember reading the first story on TWCS and wondering when it would end, only to find out she had two more sequels.  :o

I don't read many cheaterward stories. The ones that I will read are ones where Edward and Bella are the homeweckers. I can't read about Edward cheating on Bella.

...READ Jellicoe Road!!   :D ...

I really enjoyed Ladder To The Sun, it was a good read. I'm not a huge fan of Windchymes so I can totally with you on that one...
I went back and looked at some of the first fics I r, ead when this craziness started:
Secret Lies and Family ties by Idpattthat (I love that name!), Trippin, Slippin, Stumbletumblin by yellowglue (my first fic ever and still one of the best I've ever read, Yellowglue is a genius) The Work Boyfriend by Juliaaaah, (pretty realistic story, I think the author was actually writing from personal experience, if I remember rightly) Opener vs Headliner by Saewod (this was the first Rock/musicanward I read) Under The AppleTree Danieller123 (A classic and worth every moment spent reading it)  Faking It by spanglemaker9 (The first actorward I read and a good story) Grey by Adair7 (plenty of angst and non-HEA), In Places No One Will Find by carrie.wilson (Non- HEA. Angst but really, really well written. I love this story. It might not be in the index as I think the author wanted to personally send the finished story to people herself because she'd been flamed so badly when the HEA crazies found out the ending...FFG will know.) Toye by Bratty-Vamp (Well written. non-HEA. It's horror, kinda. I laughed when I got to the end; I'm sure that is not the reaction the author was aiming for...)
Ok so I read Jellicoe Road and my mind is blown with how much this book got to me...   I'm sorta speechless at even describing it.

I need something new to read and I think I just might go with Trippin, Slippin, Stumbletumblin by yellowglue.   I haven't ever read Dusty and I've heard really good things about yellowglue so maybe this will be my introduction to her work.   It's a plus for me that it's vampward.      I see that you didn't label it as a non-HEA so I'm hoping that was just an omission.  ;-)

ETA - I found it in the 152 thread, but it's only in PDF.   I seem to remember PDFs not showing up well on my kindle?

Do you use Calibre? You could convert the PDF to mobi. There are also online converter which work just fine. Maybe this one: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I did it with my copy of Trippin... from PDF to epub via Calibre and it worked fine.

Hi! I am putting some older fics in my Calibre tonight and I need a little help if anyone happens to have the summaries and at least the genre for these fics. I hate to have them blank if I can help it when I am saving them there. It makes it easier for me to know what I have on file. Thank you :88:

The sequel to "Resisting Edward." After Edward returns home, he and Bella face the repercussions of his absence. Will their new surroundings force them together or keep them apart? Humor/Romance M for Edward's awful language and some sexy times.

Thank you so much!   I remembered that someone told me you could email it to your kindle email address with the subject "convert" and it will automatically switch it to a mobi.  I tried it and it worked  seamlessly from what I can tell and the copy looks good on my Kindle.

While I was messing with that I ended up starting Suddenly by Lyricalkris on a whim and I like it so far!  It's only 55k words so I'll be finished with that one soon and will start Trippin.

This SPaG error has definitely made it's way into my top 5:

It felt great holding Bella against me, while we snuggled up watching TV.
"Edward get out of her, I need to talk to Bella" Esme shouted from the doorway.

I thought I'd read it by mistake and my dirty mind was in overdrive as it's one of my many WIPs I'm skimming atm.
But I went back over it and I seriously couldn't stop laughing at it.

I just been forced to sit while two colleagues discussed, for a 45 minutes, the 'Best Way To Make a Bacon Butty" more specifically where to put the ketchup; whether it is best squirted directly on the bacon or spread on the bread.... :banghead: :021: I thought it best to come spend some time on here before I  :violent-smiley-007: someone!  ::)
