I know he is considered hot. but there is something disturbing about him. maybe he is a psychopath. 
he just gives me this vibe... if you see him in an alley run the other direction. I don't know.

Which is why I think he'd be great!    I could totally see him going all dom on Bella, oh I mean Anastasia. I honestly don't think of him as hot per se, but I can see his appeal when he works on the Vampire Diaries.

I heard the movie was in post production and was going to be released soon.  Which made no sense to me. But it looked like an announcement from the movie studio.  If it was true, they picked the actors a long time ago. 

Really, though? I just can't see this as much of a movie. And definitely not more than one movie.  Unless it is p0rn.  And then you could have MFHD do the job. Booked will love it!   

I hope it's not more than one film. The screenwriter has one hell of a job to do! As long as they put some of the Jack stuff in early on, there's enough of a story arc for a good film (maybe 2, but it would be stretching it).

But speaking of PWP, I'm suffering a bit with A Life Extraordinary. I don't know why there are so many lemons! There's a good story underneath it all, but it requires a lot of skimming. ergh.

I looked on IMDB.  The date must have been wrong in the thing I saw.  It is in preproduction right now and is scheduled for release Aug 2014.  So they have a year I guess. 

I will probably wait until it is in the discount bin of DVDs.  Or on the movie channels.  I really don't go to the movies much.  The last one I saw in the theater was Eclipse I think.  And that was only because it was my favorite of the books. 

FSoG, yes, there will be a lot of lemons to cut and rearrangement of the actual plot to make an interesting film.

LYLS and ALE, yes lots of lemons in part 2 also. For me, too many. But I think I can see where the story is going, so I'm willing to skim and continue.

I hope you don't give up on EP! The first hundred or so pages are the hardest.

Is that when it quits being a "slave" story?  Because I think I will only continue if someone kills Charlie really soon. 

And if I can find an easier to read version.  Because the one I put on my Kindle was the "picture" one.  Some PDFs are good and some are just pictures of what was on the page.  A good PDF can be adjusted by a PDF reader.  But a picture PDF can never be changed.  And this has print so tiny I need a magnifying glass to read it.   Okay, not really.  But close. 

Maybe if I read it like a WIP it won't be so bad.....

How do you make a D/s film without sex? But more to the point how do you make a film of a book that only sold so many copies off of the back of all the sex, without the sex?? Which is why I say 'don't'....

All the of Lolashoes trilogy have a hella lot of lemons, but I still loved them and I'm not one for gratuitous lemons...I'm reading Schism on my kindle at the moment, love this take on the canon story....and again I say if you like Vampward Grasping Darkness is the fic to read.

Ella, you should continue to read EP it is worth the perseverance through the 'horror' chapters.

See, I am with you on the "Why bother" when talking about a movie of FSOG.  The main reason it sold was the sex was hot.  Though I disagree about the D/S part.  Bella didn't end up agreeing to be a sub, so most of the books were about the fact she wouldn't let him control her and the problems he had dealing with it.  That's what I liked about the story.  Yeah, the hot sex was good too. 

Okay, I will continue with EP.  Maybe I can skim through the beginning so I won't get so angry.   

It's funny, but reading a WIP? I don't mind a lot of lemons.  It's just when you read it all at once that the lemons get to be too much. And I think a lot of writers added so many lemons because as a WIP you wanted happy readers and that's what the readers wanted to see.  At least that makes sense to me.  If you were writing a regular book, you would probably not do a lemon every chapter, even in a romance.  Some would be full lemons and some would be fade to blacks.

Unless you are SM - and then it is all fade to black......

I'd say FSOG is a D/s story with a difference...I can't really remember it very well, what with all the other fics I've now read but in my recollection Bella (or whatever she's now called) might not have agreed to the spanking but didn't she sign off on all the rules? And she was certainly 'submissive' to Christian, wasn't she? I'd venture to say that she was more a 'sub' than not in behavioural characteristics (which has nothing to do with the 'scenes') What I do remember is that she got totally on my nerves and I wanted to insert a backbone into her without anesthesia..


I wanted to ask, in the Twilight books can anyone remember how many times did Bella and Edward actually go to that bloody meadow? It is now my pet peeve. No matter where in the world a twi fic takes place they always somehow find a damn meadow!!! I flounced that fic where Bella is taken to another planet to help propagate this alien species ( Edward had a tail) but I wonder if there's a meadow in that?

I've read it a while ago. Can't remember much. But I didn't flounce it.
And I normally remember if there is something I don't like.

This is true. I do appreciate how Wide Awake used the gazebo as their "meadow" and High Anxiety has the tree house. I mean, it's not the same concept, but plays a similar role.
