This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Wasn't it! I paused long enough to post here and started it within minutes of completing DIA. If only the middle was as good as the last 15 chp or so, I would have never floundered. I honestly don't know how anyone could stop reading at the end of DIA. I HAD TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO JAMIE !

The good news is, I never floundered on Voyager. In fact read a couple of chapters more than once!

Just thought I'd share this info as I don't know how long this is gonna last, but for anyone who hasn't read the published versions (Innocents & Delinquents) of Dusty yet, you can get them free on You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login atm (they're only avaliable in epub though).

Just a FYI:

Counselor is going to pull You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login on the 7th March. She's going to leave the first chapter only.
So if you want to download it before she takes it down, now is the time.

Just for the record: 1) The dress is gold and light blue but I have to agree with the person in the article who said if the lighting was better that the blue would actually be white. 2) I never noticed the bolero jacket until someone in the article mentioned it and then I went "Oh yeah - there is a jacket...." 3.) It is a very hideous dress. I woke up this morning to the radio listening to the two hosts talking about THE DRESS and I had absolutely no clue what they were talking about and until about 10 minutes ago when I saw the article on Gossip Cop, I had absolutely no clue all morning. I don't do twitter which is probably why I was so clueless.

I see it as Gold and White, but everyone else I know has different answers.

Basically we agree Loopy. The shading is off and that's the fault of the picture. It is white but if you stare at it long enough the white has a blue tint to it. Its a bad picture and an even worse dress.

I was honestly over the dress discussion. Until my grandma told me she saw it blue and black. The rest of my family sees it white. I kept thinking - I'm being trolled.

Um, The dress is black and blue according to the designer. I see black and blue but based on a website I was actually able to use a photo app to change it to white and gold. Really it's fascinating. According to a scientist it has to do with the light receptors in your eyes or something like that. If you perceive a lot of light it is blue, it not it is white.

Normally I live in a bubble too. I only heard about it because I'm visiting my parents and my dad watches the news constantly. And he wonders why I avoid it. 18 years of constant news is enough to drive anyone bonkers. Which really explains a lot.
