Congratulations To you and your daughter Loopy....hope her bp regulates soon.Ok me again with the disaster. My screen is all jumbled up with a lot of crap. It looks crazy!!! It's like several ads superimposed over each other. The please donate sign is scattered throughout the entire screen. Anyone out there with this issue? This is only happening on PTS sites.
Baby news: My daughter gave birth to a lil boy at 8:23 Friday morning (22nd) called Morgan Dusty weighing 7lb 7oz.Unfortunatley my daughter has had a few problems with blood pressure and Morgan not latching on, so she's still in hospital but they're hoping she'll be home tomorrow or the next day.He couldn't of come at a better time really, as she didn't have any exams on Friday and now it's a school holiday for 10 days and her last few exams aren't for another 2 weeks, so it gives her and her b/f time to settle into parenthood (hopefully )
Thanks hun, my daughter had decided on the name Morgan from the very beginning whether she was having a boy or a girl as it's after the hubby (of sorts) it's his surname and she's always wanted him to adopt her but with her dad coming and going as he pleases it never happened so anyway this is like a tribute to him for basically bringing her up the last 9 years. Her b/f chose Dusty not too sure how though, but I'm pretty sure as it's not after the fic as all he reads is lads mags. :DThank you, hun.

Congrats to you and your daughter, and wow not only did she take exams while 9 months pregnant, she will have to take some after giving birth 2 weeks prior - good job!!!What a great way to honor your hubs.Glad her BP is doing good and she gets to go home (I would quote that one too but we just got home after a 4 hour drive with the kids and I'm a little tired)
I agree, I really don't want to hate HC. My screen sorted itself out in 36hrs so all's good now. I'll just sit tight for the next drama to unfold.Enjoy the new baby...now Dior will have a new playmate...sorta.
Does anyone have any good Bella gets pregnant in New Moon stories? Maybe some older ones that aren't on fanfic anymore? Or I suppose just any Bella pregnant with half-vampire baby stories....not necessarily NM, could be AU. Thx
HELLLLOOOOOOOO!!!!!!???Is anybody out there? LOL! It's been so quiet. I've been sneaking in some reading, starting and stopping stuff - some stories are just so bad. And I can't figure out how they got so many reviews. I guess the badness isn't so obvious if you only read a chapter at a time. When I get some time I will put them on the flounce thread. I did start one and kind of flounce, not because it was badly written but because in the AN's she kept saying the story was something she wrote which she was adapting to Twilight Fanfiction. And it reminded me a lot of that Lightning Thief book by Richard Riordan. Not saying it was a copy just that it would have made more sense to be in that Fandom. Gods by Cupcakeriot. Ahhh.. Good ole Cupcakeriot. I think she has skills, but I don't know about her. A more well known fic, NOVA by her is pretty much a Star Trek rip off (with character names being rip off from other works/fandoms).ALSO, I think there are a handful of New Moon AUs where Bella is pregnant with Edward's child, but I'm not sure I'll be able to find it. Honestly, I'd be amazed if there wasn't.
Most of the NM AU's I've seen with a baby are not complete. Some seem to have been very popular based on the reviews. But most were started before BD, so maybe that is why they were abandoned? And a number were really bad. I rarely make it past the first chapter. I wonder if cupcakeriot wrote for other fandoms and just changed it because Twilight is more popular. I've actually seen some writers do that. I hope she isn't actually stealing stories. The writing was decent. It just wasn't grabbing me. Bella was the daughter of Hades but they don't find out who they are until they hit a certain age. It just didn't fit.
That does sound like the Percy Jackson books, as that's how they are. And I can understand her changing names to Twilight names as well, as this is/was one of the more active fandoms. I know that right now I'm looking at fandms that are currently comparatively inactive and finding good stories is difficult.
This is true. I've looked for stories that are more than OS's in some other fandoms and found few that were completed with decent reviews. And? I may be looking in the wrong place for them. Because it turns out? Some of the other fandoms can actually publish their fanfics. I have read Gods by Cupcakeriot and I see your point about it not really fitting in the Twilight universe, but I enjoyed reading it. I have also read Blood and Magnetic by her and enjoyed both of them. Blood is about vampires and really the only one of the 3 that would truly fit in the Twilight universe.
