Thread #7 - We are crazy talkers here! Join in the fun!

ADULT DISCUSSION HERE, SO TRY TO KEEP IT CLEAN! UM NO, WAIT! IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED, LOOK AWAY NOW!

This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general.  But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, so please play nice

Because we know drypen's watching

That is so great!

I wish I could crochet.  I know how to knit, but I really suck at it.  Unless you like hourglass shaped scarves. :D :D :D

I know how to knit as well, but I find crochet easier. You should check out some how to videos on you tube. There are some very good ones on there that can teach you.

Good job!

I crochet, but mostly small things so I know how much work something like that takes.

That's such a nice blanket.  :sign0098: :You_Rock_Emoticon:

I wish I could crochet, I can't even knit or sew even though my Mum's tried teaching me several times.
My Mum crochets blankets for the troops in Afghanistan etc and she also knits scarfs and blankets for the homeless as well.

I have thought about crocheting blankets for the homeless as well. I haven't gotten there yet, but I could see myself doing it in the future.

One day hun, I think it's great that you've crochet a blanket for charity.  :-*
My mum does it as she's retired now and it keeps her busy especially in the colder months when she doesn't go out so much. She was telling me the other day that she's going to be knitting hats and jumpers (sweaters) for Fish & Chip Babies (babies in Africa some born premature and with AIDS) this week.

It's actually happening, Sylvia Day has announced that the final (unless she decides to do like she did last time and say there's more books to be released) Crossfire book is being released on 5th April 2016!!!
About *@%&*@* time!!  :P :P

Changing My Course has finally updated!!!! I loooove this fic.

I really don't believe she's going to release in early 2016. Like Loopy says, every time she promised a release date it was pushed back. Plus, there is another book after the 2016 release. I'm pretty sure I've read that somewhere. At this rate I'll be rereading the series every year just so I'll remember all the details.
I wait with bated breath for release day.

This week I discovered that "Ever After" (Cinderella movie with Drew Barrymore) has been uploaded onto youtube (in parts) and so I have rewatched that a time or two.  Still so good, but it made me feel old when I realized it was released in 1998 (17 years ago!)

Wow. That came out really nice.

So somehow I haven't been getting update notices. I did get my computer back. The keyboard works again. My hard drive , however,  is totally messed up from hooking it up to my Windows 7 computer because I needed to access a file on it. I guess the 7 and 8 file systems aren't as compatible as I thought.  So I guess I'm reloading computers this weekend. On the plus side, I can go back to Windows 8. I didn't really like 8.1. Sigh.

I should be able to update drive soon also. :)

Check your junk folder, that's where all my alerts have been going.

Happens to me every time the site comes back after an attack.
