Like the book I just finished it was okay, but I feel like I'm being blackmailed into leaving a review as the author says right at the end of the book she won't write/release the next book in the series unless the reviews left are favourable.Which really pissed me off as she left the book with several unaswered questions, I don't don't mind a book ending on a cliffie at all but for the author to say that she might not even release the next book is just Don't know where it come from but rant over.

God! When did they (authors) all become such arseholes? Backmail, flaming reviewers, starting witch-hunts....Some of them have gone nuts! My Godmother worked with Stephen King years ago at Doubleday and she say he was exacting and very challenging but, f*ck, he's Stephen King! Some of these idiots can't even construct a proper sentence....99% of the time I find myself wishing that this whole 'self-publishing' phenomenon/caca hadn't ever happened; there is way, way ,way too much manure masquerading as fiction in 'bookshops' these days.

You'll have a swoony quote like that somewhere in the 800 boring pages. I got through Outlander (book 1) ok. Dragonfly in Amber (book 2) I prob had 150 more pages to go out of 900. My first ever DNF.Then when I heard Book 3 was no better than Book 2, I stopped the torture. Now I will just watch on the screen. I prefer to listen to Sam/Jamie talk anyway. *fans self*iiMaybe one day I can try again.....but not for quite awhile.

Well, I've been sucked into a very badly written crazy story by Staceleo. In her favor, she recognizes she needs a beta and that grammar is not really her thing. But really, it's supposed to be funny but it's more like a train wreck that I can't look away from. They are all whackadoodles. Except maybe Bella, who owns a bakery. Alice has horrible taste in clothes. Esme practically kills people with her cooking. And Edward wants to take over the town. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
Ummm no she wasn't joking. I have watched many of those like that. She comes across crass or cocky a lot of the times. Refuses to let anyone beta her work. I don't care how well you write, you will be better with an editor or beta. The books would have been 1/2 the size and the repeatitveness would have been gone. She writes well. Very descriptive. Her books take years to write. She says she writes with no outline, just whatever pops in her head and by book 2, it shows. Also there are too many rapes. It's ok for one heck even two, but most of the characters? No way.
