This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I'm always happy to hear about your strange dreams. It makes my strange ones seem almost okay. Well, last night's was straight out of sci-fi. Makes me wish I was a writer.

I got dressed 3 times yesterday morning. Twice in my dreams. I'd be ready to go, then I'd wake up and wonder why I was still in bed. I was late for an appointment.

I told a friend. She said she had bad dreams with cows...cows breaking into her house...cows chasing her down the beach...lots of scary cows.

I'm sorry for her scary cow dreams...but I can't stop laughing!!!

I know they say we dream every night, but I rarely remember them. In fact, prob less than 10 in my 4 decades.

I would looooove to read Jamie ff. I have read quite a few highlander books, but you know there isn't many of our ff that are highlander.

I only know of a few and haven't read any of them. Have any of you?

I think I know a cure for her cow dreams (unless my suggestion is the cause of the dreams in the first place) - have her read the InDeath series by Robb. Lt. Eve Dallas, as kickass a homicide cop one can find in lit, is deathly afraid of cows much to the amusement of her husband. Its a recurring theme throughout the series - everytime Eve has to go someplace that has a countryside - like the Midwest or Ireland for example - she keeps hoping she won't run into any - or in the case of her husband's aunt's farm - that they won't deliberately seek her out.

So, it was 1998 when my family got our first computer and I couldn't think of a screen name to use on my dial up AOL account.

so my oldest sister suggested I use my dogs name, Sassy, she was a beautiful golden retriever, and everyone was talking about the year 2000 approaching so my sister made the name Sassy98200 for me, it later morphed into Sassy982011 be cause of an online game, ShadowCities, (I'm a nerd

) I also needed a second Gmail account and I'm lazy so I changed the numbers a bit.

Nah, had scarier. Like the one with the serial killer.
Or the one where I broke both my legs and there was enough blood spilling out of me like a waterfall.
But I ALWAYS know that I'm dreaming. So I'm not really scared.

Ohh and the one I was sailing and this whale was trying to turn the boat? I couldn't make up this stuff if I wanted to.

3 plane crashes dreams. Several where families and friends die. Thankfully they never come true.

My earliest dream, that I remember, I was 6 coming home from school. We had this front porch, where my dad had to make a step all around it to keep the floods out. So when I get home my parents and my brother bodies are floating in this pool of their blood. There was enough blood to make them float.

I should write a book with some of this stuff. And I never read or watch horror books and films.
One of the reasons I like chick lit and HEAs.

And here I was thinking I had weird dreams.

The last week or so I keep having a recurring dream where the hubby falls into our neighbours pig pen and the pigs start feasting on him and while I try helping him out I start sinking into quick sand.
Then after that it changes to a sexy dream about something else, I'd be worried if pigs were involved in that type of dream.

Even in my dreams, no matter how weird or gory they get it always ends up in a sexual situation with the hubby or someone else.

I think the whole thing about pigs is that my neighbours grandson has moved in with him and when we were younger he had his foot ate by pigs, so now he has only one foot. It was his own fault though as he was tweaking on something and fell into the pen and knocked himself unconscious.

I think that, I would need a secretary who will organize all my fanfiction download folders

Since I do not have time to do it myself
Because my time still go downloading fanfiction.
I have thousands of unsolved fanfictions

I`m starting to think that I spend more time looking for and downloading fanfictions (because so badly I don`t want to miss anything good) than reading them

BUT can someone enlighten me why the hell there is so much buzz about this damn dress? Is this some kind of important dress or just random dress? Has someone famous or important wore it? Is it magical? From out of space? Or what?

I think it was kind of a relief from all the other crap going on in the world. What really set it off was that a few celebrities weighed in and they have thousands or millions of followers so it just spiraled out of control.

i just saw that all the complete fics i downloaded since Jan 29 were not downloaded in Calibre. WTF is going on?

Downloaded everything but the epub? I had that happen. I was able to get most of them to redownload by highlighting and selecting update. But if they are pulled you are SOL.

I don't know what causes it. Double check if you have the most current version of FFDL but not of Calibre. I only update Calibre when FFDL requires it. Less issues that way.

So I've just recently figured out that I could use the Fanfic plug in for calibre to make a series anthology for those stories that authors release as separate stories part of a single series.

My question is, if I add all the stories as anthology, but the last story isn't marked complete, is it possible to update it like you do other incomplete fics?
