You don't have to live in Texas to drive around with a gun rack on the back of the cab of your truck.  Mainers do to.   I think the gun legislation up for consideration here is to do away with concealed weapons permits.  It doesn't have a lot of support the last I knew.

Thanks for mentioning Coincidental Major.  I didn't realize there was an EPOV so this was an awesome surprise.  Thanksfully Ella had it on her drive! Thank you Ella!   So, should I read these two simultaneously?

I'm glad you liked that last part too.   So good!  Man I loved Patch too...  The Hush Hush series was really good.  I think I remember the last book not being quite as good as the others though?

You could read them simultaneously, a bit like WWF/WWS.  :)

The last book in the Hush, Hush series sucked and was unnecessary really as the series was only meant to be a trilogy and then she added the last book for no other reason than money or that's what I think anyway, kinda reminds me of another author *cough*Sylvia Day*cough*.  >:(

I never read MM or CM but I'm currently reading Tangled Web by the same author. They are both on my TBR list. I may have to move them up.

Oh, who am I kidding. There's a long list and it has nothing to do with what I read next. Someone makes a rec that sounds good?  The list gets thrown out the door.  :D :D :D :D

I think I read Hush, Hush right before I discovered fanfic. Let's just say Patch sounds familiar. But then fanfiction took over my life and I never read the rest of the series. Maybe later.

So I just read a couple shorter stories. I think one was rec'd here.

Inhale, Exhale - They meet again after many years. Bella is much younger.  Okay not that much younger. But she was too young when they first knew each other.  Sweetward.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

And one semi annoying story. A Forbidden Love - A Married in Vegas fic.  Kim Ginsburg is a lot like Tufano as far as good story ideas, okay writing, and annoying things like bullying, girls that make moves on Edward while Bella is standing next to him, exceedingly rich Edward, poor me but I'm going to be brave about it Bella....  Anyway, it was a completed married in Vegas story. Most I find start really good but get abandoned after about 10 chapters. :(  So I read it. If you can handle all the annoying parts?  It's an okay read. ;) You are not allowed to view links. I read CM and then just read the chapters from MM that would add to the story and to see what was happening with EXB when they were experiencing different things. CM was a great story, and I could see myself re-reading it again in the future even though it is a HS fic.

I guess this means that you survived Easter and all of the tempting Cadbury Easter Eggs?  >:D  I have to ask, did you end up giving in to temptation and having 1? I have to admit that I certainly did. I stopped going to the gym in December and cancelled the membership, so going back after so many months off is almost killing me, but at least I am not alone this time and hubby is joining me in the torture. :D

I totally caved... It had to be done

LOL! Don't they already drive around with gun racks in the back window of their trucks already in Texas?

I always thought they could do that. It was walking around with a concealed weapon that was a problem?
My hubby is from Texas... We were there visiting once... Driving down a highway,  and a wild turkey crossed the road and the truck in front of us pulled over, grabbed his rifle off the rack in his truck, and walked across the road to follow the turkey! I freaked! *Hahahaa... Hubs said "Turkey for dinner!" *Hahahaa...

I hope he knew someone willing to dress the thing (chop off the head, pull the feathers, etc. to prepare it for being edible)?

Such a lovely picture!  ;)

Am currently enjoying a cup of coffee outside my cousin's house, reading the posts here and basking in the wonderful 15 degree weather. I wish i could bring home this weather.

Some eye openers during this trip:
1. Some white people are really white.   ^-^ It's fascinating to see so many skin colors! And listening to the various languages and accents.
2. Cleavage...man, i could turn gay looking at the bountiful mounds on constant display here. I have Boob envy! My A cups want to deflate even more seeing all C and Ds left and right. And man, at theme parks, they are out in all their glory. I can't help but stare!  :P
3. They wear really short shorts here, specially at theme parks. Again, logical since they want to stay cool. There i was in my full jeans attire. Think more than my birthday button and park employees greeting me happy bday at every turn, people are looking at me at my attire: that's one crazy asian wearing jeans.  ;D
My legs have scars from my allergies a few years ago so I don't wear shorts or skirts anymore. Still, am comfortable with being fully covered, the weather is so nice we didn't sweat at the parks.  :)
But hey, am not one of those stupid ones wearing party dresses and high heels while on tour or at the park  ;D :P
4. No matter how good looking a guy is, if he is hairy, i just cringe.  :-\  When i saw this cute guy in line in front of us, i was nudging my daughter to appreciate the view. But then he turned around and the curly hairs on his back were fighting to come out of his tank top...just ewww. Must hurt like a b*tch if he had that removed.
5. Bootylicious is indeed a term that can be used often here. Again, i could turn gay...i wanted to slap their asses just to see how bouncy and firm they are...just didn't want to get arrested and ask for bail money from you guys.  8) :D
6. Tattoos are fascinating. So many people have them here. Another thing my eyes can't seem to stop staring at.  ^-^

Can't believe 2 weeks have gone by and i only have 1 week left here. My hubs and I are dreading going back to reality  :-\

I'm assuming the 15 degree weather is actually celcius and not farenheit?   Belated happy birthday by the way.

I am reading them like I did WWF/WWS.  Thanks for the tip!   There is actually a lot of story in the edward POV that we don't see in BPOV.

I had no idea it was originally meant to be a trilogy.  That would totally explain why I felt let down with that last book.  I read them all in row with no breaks in between and just remember feeling like it lost something in that last book.

I need to re-read them this way as I read MM/CM separately and I'm sure there were things in each fic that I missed due to this.  ;D

I know what you mean, I read each one as they came out as bought them in PB before buying them in ebook format and by time the last one came out I was actually looking forward to reading it mainly for my love of Patch  :D, I was hoping that it would be as good as the rest but I was so disappointed when I read it.   :(
She said on her website that Silence was definitely the end and then next thing you know she announcing that she's releasing Finale as she felt there things that needed to be tied up, even though I thought that Silence pretty much did all of that.  :( :pulling

I just read my review of book 4 and I said that there was not near enough Patch in it.  LOL

Gabriels Inferno was the same way for me. It was nicely wrapped up in the first two books and I loved them but the third book was just blah.

I've only read the 1st book so far in the GI trilogy, but I know Mrs F said the same thing about book 3, so I think I'm gonna read book 2 at some point and leave it there.  ;D

definitely leave with 2. Second one is really good btw.

What about book 3 of the beauty from pain series?  I read the first two and loved them. Wondering if I should bother with 3 as I think 2 ended nicely.

Almost all of ButterflyBetty's "WIPs" are complete on TWCS.  She is just putting them back on FFN.  Not sure if she pulled them originally or if FFN did.  There were a lot of authors that pulled in protest when FFN was pulling fics.  >:(

I took her off my alerts.  I was missing updates for here and stories that I was actually reading.  So annoying.
