Hey, so considering the questions.
Where are you from?
I am from the UK, specifically Leeds. :D

How tall are you?
I'm so small. One thing I hate. Ugh, I'm dead on 5ft.  :(  Although I always get told, the best things comes in small packages.  :P

What is your shoe size?
I'm a UK size 4. Which I think is equivalent to size 37?

What is your bra size?
I am a 32C

Any-other nitty-gritty questions? Ill be sure to answer.  >:D

And I must admit the time difference can sometimes be annoying
Hello fellow Brit.  :P :P
My cousin has just (3 months ago) moved from Leeds to Bridlington as she wanted to be somewhere a bit quieter for her and the kids and a massive bonus is that it's not too far away from the beach.  :)

I started reading the last post first which was Loopy's containing Book's Exactamundo and the first thought in my head was Arthur Fonzarelli (?) from Happy Days and I started wondering.  So, I read backwards - in honor of Magic Mike - the following info which just appeared on my homepage entertainment news. Ah the power of The Fonz even after 20 plus years......

'Magic Mike XXL' outstripping 'Terminator' at box office

By JAKE COYLE  -  The Associated Press

NEW YORK (AP) — "Magic Mike XXL" is narrowly outstripping "Terminator Genisys" at the holiday weekend box office.

The Channing Tatum male-stripper sequel earned $9.3 million on its opening day Wednesday, according to Warner Bros. Paramount Pictures said Thursday that its reboot of the Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi franchise, "Terminator Genisys," opened with $8.9 million Wednesday.

Both sums include about $2 million in Tuesday night showings.

The two films are vying to unseat "Jurassic World" over the July Fourth weekend. With the holiday falling on Saturday, studios aren't getting the usual long-weekend boost. But "Magic Mike XXL" and "Terminator Genisys" both opened early to rope in more moviegoers.

The early figures suggest a very close race for the box-office lead. But it also means a July Fourth weekend lacking major fireworks at the multiplex. Both films will likely make in the neighborhood of $40 million from Wednesday through Sunday.

Such a result is dramatically better for "Magic Mike XXL," which was made for only about $15 million. "Terminator Genisys," on the other hand, was made for about $155 million and appears headed for disappointment.

Critics have slammed the fifth installment in the franchise, which returns Schwarzenegger to his most famous role after his absence in 2009's "Terminator Salvation." But at its current rate, "Genisys" won't come close to matching the five-day opening of $65.3 million for "Salvation".

The two new wide releases may struggle to surpass the strong holdovers of "Jurassic World" and Pixar's "Inside Out" over the weekend.

Still, the four movies should at least mean a big improvement over last year's July Fourth. Last summer's Independence Day weekend, featuring Melissa McCarthy's "Tammy" and the sci-fi adventure "Earth to Echo," was Hollywood's worst in decades.

And just to show how screwed up I am on what day of the week this is:  I tried to get the Thursday and Friday totals of Magic Mike both domestically and overseas from Box Office Mojo.  Duh....this is Thursday which means its only been open in the States since yesterday (Wednesday) and there are no overseas totals as of yet.    I think I've been watching too many Bonanza repeats and that isn't helped by the fact that tomorrow is officially a federal holiday since the 4th of July falls on a Saturday and banks are closed and there is no mail delivery and all Federal and State offices are closed.

Magic Mike XXL

Domestic Total as of Jul. 1, 2015: $9,306,397

and if that's not enough Magic Mike for you here is another bonus:

LOL, the Fonz, guess only a few of us on here remembers or knows who he is. At 19, bet Tasha doesn't know the Fonz or Happy Days  :P (Bryce Dallas Howard's dad was one of the lead characters in said sitcom)

It sucks that Magic Mike will only show here on July 15th yet  :( but The Terminator started here yesterday. Will be watching it tomorrow, Saturday.

I just finished the latest 2 books of K. bromberg's Driven series. loved them too like the first 3 books.

Tonight, I will start reading drotuno's Man Behind the Mask  >:D Finally, a twific I am interested in.

Thanks again to Dasbaiyo for sending me the epub

Its a pretty sad commentary on Ron Howard's life that the only way anyone under the age of 25 knows who he is is because his kid (Bryce) is currently better known than her father.  Ron doesn't act these days Tasha - he's a really good producer and director.   Sort of like people only knowing Paul McCartney because of his daughter Stella (It still blows my mind when I hear stories that there are people today who never heard of The Beatles or Wings.   Of course I'm the dinosaur of the group who's getting her jollies watching old Bonanza reruns so what the hell do I know.

Well, when you think about it, he has actually been a producer and director for much longer than he was an actor.  ;)

Okay, it looks like my Google drive is back to being up to date and sunk.  LOL! What is the past tense of sync?

So, forever, I have said Help Wanted by Jaxon22 was so good.  I think I may have been in one of my desperate for Actoward moods.  And I probably skipped around or something. Because, half a chapter in and the Britishisms are becoming annoying. It is a lot of little things. And the inability to  know the tenses on verbs..... "was stood" is not a proper verb.  Was standing would be the correct version.  Then again, maybe she got a beta somewhere in the middle and it gets better?  Sigh....

I don't know what is wrong with me.  I'm just trying to find something to read as a break from studying and I figure if I'm rereading it, I can more easily put it down.  Not so true, but....  Anyway, I don't remember being so picky before.  Maybe I should go for something humorous instead and save this for when I'm not so stressed out.   :P :-\

I'm trying to get through Dead Confederates.  It's very poetic in a gothic southern way.  There is a certain beauty to the crude, hick, back country language.  However, I'm about 100 pages in and not much has actually happened.  And if "Eddie" says he wants to f*ck and kill Bella in equal measure one more time, I might stake him myself.  I still have almost 600 pages to get through.

I enjoyed Help Wanted, but it should have ended much sooner than it did.

It's lovely in Bridlington, I have family that live there. The air is noticeably cleaner than it is in Leeds. Although I couldn't imagine moving to live there. More opportunities, and things available in Leeds, but for the Kids, living next to a beach has got to be a dream. Haha
 :P

I love Ron Howard, he's made some of my fave movies. He was really funny when he was on Top Gear promoting Rush.
I remember telling my niece (who's 23) that Paul was Stella's Dad and about the Beatles/Wings and she looked at me like I was an alien or something, yet I'm only 9 years older than her.  ::) ::)

They prefer living there then the city but I think that's cos the kids are at the age where going to the beach is like heaven to them, I'm sure in a few years time they'll be bored out of their brain boxes.  :D :D

That makes two of us Ella - I never got past the first chapter of Dead Confederates either.  Loopy, I used to walk home on my lunch hour from work and watch Happy Days during lunch.  If I had to pinpoint the time period, it was when Timothy McVay blew up the Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City back in the mid to late '90's.  I went home for lunch and turned on the tv expecting Happy Days and ended up with news coverage of the bombing instead.

Same here. The writing is flawless...but one gets bogged down in all that "poetry". If there was more dialogue I think it would be a great fic. I could not finish... I waited and waited for something to happen and nada.

Help Wanted is a great read.

Who doesn't like The Fonz.....heeeey....a slice of Americana
Opie and Ritchie....little Ronnie Howard. I had a thing for Chachi.....God, I feel old!!
I didn't even know who Bryce was till Twilight. I guess it's a generation thing..it bears repeating....God I feel old.

Me too! I didn't watch it in repeats in the 90s. I watched it new in the 70s! I was born at the end of 73, and it started in 74. And of course, my mom raised me on Andy Griffith reruns, so I'm familiar with Opie, too.

Chachi was one of my first crushes, along with Rick Springfield, and Bo from Dukes of Hazzard. Dating myself real much right now!

You want dated?   I saw Bonanza, Happy Days, Chachi, Laverne and Shirley, Death Valley Days with Ronald Reagan, Andy Griffith, and Lawrence Welk in all original episodes and reruns.    The only thing I pretty much missed was Wanted Dead or Alive with Steve McQueen.  My mother thought it was too violent.  The only time I got to see it was when we were visiting my great grandparents up the street.  If you were in in my great grandfather's house when it was time for Wanted Dead or Alive, one of two things happened:  a) you could get up quickly and go home or b) you could stay and suffer silently with no conversation because it was Papa's favorite show and he couldn't abide people talking during it.   And then there was The Ed Sullivan Show - and THE BEATLES.   We were at my grandparents' house that night - the poor adults were left aghast at the long (?) hair etc.   I decided to annoy my mother and developed an instant crush on one of them - I think Ringo but I wouldn't swear to it.   Mission accomplished.  and then I went home and promptly forgot about them until the Abbey Road (?) album and the Paul is dead conspiracy theory which was either my senior year of high school gym class or my freshman year of college.
