Welcome to PTS and kudos for asking for recommendations on the correct thread. For lemony stories, try The Office by tby789; Grasping Darkness or The Screamers by kiyaraven; one of the lolashoes stories (it's a trilogy and I can't remember which one is first); a personal favorite is Last Tango in Forks by awesomesauce76. For tby789, lolashoes and awesomesauce76 - see the Index of uploaded Twilight stories, link is in my signature.Kiyaraven stories are still on ffn.

So I started reading this story that someone was looking for/found on Facebook called The Book of Twilight. It sounded interesting. "17 year old Bella finds a book after she moves in with her dad in Forks. But the book is more then 'just' a book. The book is about a certain vampire coven, that might or might not be real. Full summary inside. M for lemons."Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.[/spoiler]Anyway, Bella is "frilled" to find this cool book that seems to write itself as she reads. Just like her mom is having a "frilling" time traveling the world with Phil. Yeah, for some reason, she thinks thrilled is spelled with an f instead of a th. I kind of understand when writers spell phonetically, but I can't figure out how an f and a th sound alike. I could maybe see "trilled" if you couldn't pronounce the th - like the French do. The story isn't bad so far, but she uses that word in every chapter at least once so far. And I'm on chapter 5. Sigh.....You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
There is no way I can have all my books on my Kindle. So yeah, I have to remove stuff regularly. I actually remove stuff I thought I wanted to read, but realized they were not great stories first. Then stuff I will never reread. It is hard to track it all though. I normally track it in Calibre.
agree with you. i removed more than half of my fanfic hoard from my ipad early this year as the story may not be something i will actually read. they are wasting away in my PC all i've finished reading are also removed from my ipad (at least once a month). if i liked the story and i may re-read in the future, i save in my PC under a folder "DONE" not too organized but at least i know i read them already am scared to use calibre precisely because i just might hoard even more books and fanfics. that will just make me want to retire early and spend my days reading and not "living"
Hmm... Just reading about the "frill" kind of makes my eye twitch *hahaha... Sounds interesting though! How many chapters are there?
Maybe Bella saw Edward in a frilly shirt or something that's why she was frilled!!! Kinda reminds me of the books I'm reading atm, the author keeps swapping between Rocky Road and Rocky Rode for describing the ice cream they eat, it's a good book but this has started to p*ss me off slightly as she even used both versions in the same paragraph.
Hmmm. When I see "Rode" I think of large microphones. So not a good ice cream flavor. But I guess when you see rode, you think sex or motorcycles. Sex might be a good flavor. Okay, the idea of sex might be a good flavor.
I checked out Book of Twilight this morning. I'm assuming you all know that it has a sequel - not completed yet - in other words a wip.World of Twilight - 21 chapters so far.....You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
Maybe frilled is like floved? Lol f-ing thrilled!
LOL! That actually makes sense. Probably doesn't even know it isn't a real word.
I use Calibre. I have several different libraries set up including a to be read one. I read on my samsung galaxy s4 phone on my lunch break at work and just have the story I am currently reading on there. It is great that I have One Drive because all of my Calibre libraries are on there so I have access to my saved stories anywhere and can download one to my phone to read anytime. The best part was that it was all FREE, including the one drive app for my phone.
I like the One Drive idea! I checked it out and it connects with my brain more than Calibre does Maybe its the simple wording *ahahah.. Calibre just makes me anxious! I'm not sure why *ahahhahaa!! I was telling almost that exact same thing to a friend last night. It would be lovely to retire and just read all day That's a good one though! My TBR list is a giant beast that cannot be tamed... Maybe I'll keep those stories on the One Drive and favorites on my PC... Thanks for the tips!
If you are not using Calibre, Google drive works well also. You can sync it with a folder on your computer. And there are 15 gbs compared to the 5 or so with OneDrive. Guess it depends on the size of your library.
Do you keep all your books/FF on your reading devices? I have an external hard drive that is keeping my stories safe, and lately my Kindle has been working over time adding the bazillion stories I have been loading on there every day I think that I should remove them from my Kindle once their read... I *REALLY* need to find a filing system or some way to organize all these stories I have. I'm getting a little frazzled having them in too many places!
