I am more than a little bit excited about this:You are not allowed to view links. Register or LoginJust saw that Robb from Game of Thrones is playing Prince Charming!
Also loads of the reviews I've read say it's angsty, I suffered through more angst while eating a bowl of cereal than reading this so far.
Pretty much the same - Cassandra Claire. You can find out more here You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
I know that KA was picked up by a different publisher so you're probably right about the excessive descriptions.I liked RC but kinda started to pull my hair out after about the 3rd one as they got a bit repeaty, though I do love Lee. I think we all know on here that I FLOVE knight, but that's only cos of Knight and the whole "Daddy" thing. Deacon was alright but definitely not worth all the 5* reviews I saw.
I read Bully and didn't like it but most of my reading buddies did. I thought it was just blah with a few nice moments thrown in there. The description of Wisp has not pulled me in at all! Is this one everybody is saying is a must read? I didn't like Rock Chick either... And just thought Knight was OK. (those are not my preferred genre) I felt like her fantasyland series was just so much better. Did I read something about her getting picked up by a different publisher or something and then cutting out a lot of her excess descriptions or did I make that up in my head?
I don't know why everyone is having such a hard time logging on to Twilighted. Maybe it depends on how often you go there? I usually get right in. Every now and then (and I really need to write down the dates when it happens) I go in and need to login and I don't know if that is part of the program? All you have to do Ella when you log in and it takes you to your account, just hit categories again. The first couple of times it happened I kept thinking I had to do something with my account and and then I figured out that if I just hit categories, everything would be fine. Log in and then to keep the automatic login going, try going in once a week and see if it keeps you on (or a couple of times a week) and see if you can beat the system that way. I know you don't do the forums - I get in there most of the time there too but every now and then it won't let me in unless I log in (which leads me to believe its in the programming) and then it takes you back to where you wanted to be.
Sooo many forums! I can't keep up! LOL I tend to go where I'm told to Otherwise its a bit overwhelming. One of my reader buddies uses A Different Forest, but to me the site set up is confusing
Finally read this... Very interesting! I had no idea. I've yet to read an HP fic. I flove HP though!
I will agree with that somewhat. ADF is easy to navigate for stories. Not so easy for Campfires. But what I don't like is they all send stories via email to each other. Trying to get a copy is almost impossible. Fortunately, I found PTS.
I don't have a problem logging in. My problem is that when I click on a link to a story someone recs there, I get a message i I need to login. Fine. Logged in. I still have no idea what story it was. Because instead of taking me to the link, I'm on account settings. Categories will not help me find a story I don't know. So I have to back key back to the link and hope Twilighted remembers me long enough for the link to work. Don't worry. I get just as frustrated with fictionpad as I do with Twilighted. There stupid "show more" when searching that crashes after a few pages and makes you have to start all over. So annoying.
Now I understand Ella. If I click from here, it does the same to me - then again - sometimes it doesn't - Tells me I have to log-in - it might make a difference where a person links from - I think if I put a link up here from there - I do it after I've got the actual story up and not just the title and all the chapters. I think that makes a difference. Then again - beats me. I know - that is absolutely no help whatsoever.
Ignore the description. Read the story. As an angst hoor, you will love Wisp. I just started Cris's As Children After Play. I didn't want to read it based on the summary on ffnet. But she has a different summary on AO3 so I'm giving it a try. And it is angsty but Cris writers good angst. She is judo_lin on AO3.
I just finished reading Power Play by Carano. AWESOME STORY!! That's one off the the TBR list.
This passage made me shout/laugh so loud I woke Mr PA from a nap (he's just got back from NY) and I was asked to stop reading or go home...needless to say I'm on Tapatalk in the back of a black cab.... This is how Unfinished Heroes talk, apparently NB: Even reading back the post for typos made me snort/giggle..
There are lots of CaraNo stories I like, but I was disappointed in this one. I wanted an Edward/Bella story or even Edward/Bella/Anthony, but too much of this one focused on Carlisle and Anthony. I know some of you ladies like slash, and I can tolerate a little of it, but this was more than I like. But, for those of you who like slash and passed on this story because you thought it was Edward/Bella, you might want to give it a try.You are not allowed to view links. ME TOOOOOO!!! I had the trailer on repeat when it was released! I FLUFFING FLOVE Kate Blanchet!! She'll always be the Queen to me
Glad I'm not on my own with Bully as I know some of the girls on PTS have read it and the loved it and loads of the reviews are 5*.Also loads of the reviews I've read say it's angsty, I suffered through more angst while eating a bowl of cereal than reading this so far. Wisp is definitely a must read, I think the only problem is that if people read it now while it's complete some people might think it's a bit boring in places as not a lot happens in some of the chapters, but it is a brilliant read none the less.
I'm reading Deacon now....Maybe because I'm reading these one after the other but I've never seen such repetition in a series...How is it all these heroes talk exactly the same? All this 'beauty' this and 'beauty' that, not as a characteristic but as an idea (very Aristotelian ) which is rather ironic considering they all speak in monosyllables, because, you know, to be macho you shouldn't be able to string a sentence. *Grunt* 'Woman. Here' *grunt, grunt*. Honestly I think Knight was the best of the lot as a book but Creed was the best of the 'hero', so far...I've not finished Deacon.
Ignore the description. Read the story. As an angst hoor, you will love Wisp.
Please, can I just share.....I put my hands to the ridges of his abs and slid them up his chest. He stroked my cheek and dropped closer.“You wanna clean up?” he asked quietly.“Yeah,” I answered quietly too.“Then shuteye or you wanna sit on my face?”I blinked. Then I squirmed. His gaze heated as he muttered, “Sit on my face.”“There it is,” I muttered back. “More happy.”I saw the light in his eyes as he dropped even closer.“Baby, that pussy on my mouth, your ass in my hands, the noises you make fillin’ the room, knowin’ I get to drive deep in your wet, tight c.unt while you’re still moanin’ for me. Then after I give it to you, and you give it to me, I get to bed down with you tucked tight. You don’t think that makes me happy, you’re fuckin’ crazy.” This passage made me shout/laugh so loud I woke Mr PA from a nap (he's just got back from NY) and I was asked to stop reading or go home...needless to say I'm on Tapatalk in the back of a black cab....
