Just a few other friendly reminders:

Please use the subject and tags lines as follows (with no colon after UL, LINK and REQ)
When uploading a story it would be like this: UL The ABC story by author123
For Links, it would be: Link DurtyNelly blog
Requests for stories: REQ The ABC story by author123

Are you looking for a specific fic? In the upper right hand corner is a search box with a drop down menu. Type in your search criteria and you will probably find the story has already been uploaded. If you search and can't find what you're looking for, feel free to ask. Remember that the Index to Uploaded Twilight stories always runs at least a month behind this thread. So you need to search the current month as well as the Index when you're looking for a story, especially one that has recently been pulled.

Remember - Search before you request and Search before you upload!

Let me make some other suggestions that might make your life easier. If you click the notify button (at the top or bottom of the page), you'll get an e-mail when something new is posted on the thread. You can do this for any thread you're interested in following. Also, if you bookmark the thread, when you access it through your bookmarks, it will have a little red "new" which, if you click on it, will take you to the last place you were on the thread. This also works if you access the thread through the home page (fanfict alley, then the thread). You do have to be signed in to get the benefits of the "new" button. If you go the "notify" route, you'll be accessing from your e-mail and it will take you to the post that you received the notification on.

I am massively behind in my Fanfic email account, and grrrrr ..... I seemed to somehow missed adding this fic on my calibre. by the time I figured it out, it was done gone!

The last alert I got for "The Cell" was also Sept 28, 2014 ... so I think she might have pulled it. I dunno? I don't know if she finished it or not. Any help would greatly appreciated.

I do not know how I got two posts .... it's like I'm stuttering I am so frustrated with my inbox overload!

The story was pulled a while ago. I never read it, usually refraining from reading most WIP stories. However, this copy was shared on Facebook a few weeks ago and I downloaded it for this purpose (to share with those who want/need it). The last update date on the file was 9/27 so it should be as current as possible before it was pulled.

Because it was a drabble the story had not progressed very far. I PMed her after she pulled it. She says she's leaving fanfic to focus on publishing OF. She did not intend to change this story and publish it as OF. If you haven't already done so, I wouldn't bother to start it. It will just frustrate you.

He calls her BB and she can't figure out why. They were childhood friends until she stopped coming to visit her grandfather because her mother wouldn't let her. Edward is friends with Emmett and Rosalie who are married after having gotten pregnant in high school. Alice shows up and turns out to be Bella's aunt and the reason her mother stopped talking to her grandfather. I think the title had something to do with sand castles but I'm not sure. I could be confusing this story with other ones.

Good to know. It's a drag, yeah, but she also posted some really great completed fics, so I can't complain. I would be interested to read some of her OF, so it's win-win to me.

I read way more WIP's, with only the odd completed fic thrown in if I hear it's MUST READ. Most of the time, I've already read it when it was posting as a WIP. I read a lot of books, so I guess that's why my fic habits are different.

I prefer the wait between chapters thing, for some weird reason: it makes it more exciting. I have been known to make embarrassing squee noises when a get updates for a fic I adore. If a fic I really love has updated after months, it's like my heart stops! I have been following some amazing fics for yeeeeears.

I actually like cliffies! (as long as they update regularly.)

I am a big pay-it-forward reviewer, because feedback is the lifeblood of fanfic. I want to support our twific writers because I know it motivates them to give me more Edward p0rn... I mean stories. It's the least I can do for all the amazing Edward thrills I get for free. I also like to feel like I am giving back to the generous (and frankly crazy) community that has enabled my Edward addiction, even if it's like, two words: good job.

Speaking of good job....

And I also mean to say how much I appreciate PTS: all the generous sharers, and impressive detective fic-finders, and reviewers here at PTS.

Someone in one of the groups I'm in on Facebook is searching for this:

I'm looking for an older fic & I'm not sure if it was finished or not. Edward is forced to hurt Bella or his family who has also been captured (elsewhere) will be harmed. He hates himself for doing it but is trying to save his family. It's only after he's burned her & is letting her recover in a cold bath that she tries to drown herself. It's then that Edward decides he's finished taking orders & refuses to hurt her anymore no matter the consequences. That's all I remember. Ring any bells?

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
