No problem. The original trilogy is one of my favorite series. I haven't read the published versions yet, as I was waiting for it to complete, but I think it's going to be ongoing since book 10 is expected in August. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Is your photo of Jace? I just read City of Bones, which I liked and jumped into City of Ashes, but only got about half way through before I started something else. Does it get better? Part of me wants to tough it out because I want the reward.

Broken Angel - I actually like the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th books better than the first. A lot of that is because Jacob is abusive at the beginning. And Bella and Edward have to work through a lot of issues dealing with his leaving. But it starts with him coming back after 2 years rather than right away. You are not allowed to view links. Drotuno also wrote Masen Manor - Bella saw her dad get killed and her throat was slashed. She doesn't speak. Edward is a "ghost" at her new school. You will love Leah who is a gypsy who can tell the future. Rose and Emmett are humans. Really satisfying part near the end. Edward is very sweet.

Yes the pics are of Dominic Sherwood as Jace. I have the first 4 books in the series but haven't actually read them yet. I haven't been able to pull myself away from Edward & Bella long enough. My son borrowed City of Bones so, once he is done, maybe I will be able to get into reading it. I watched the movie based on City of Bones, and it was ok, but I really love the Netflix series based on the books called Shadow Hunters. I am anxiously waiting for Tuesday so that I can watch the next episode.

I read Kulti a few days ago and I don't care what anyone says for me Sal was Bella and Kulti was Edward, I refuse to acknowledge they are their own characters especially because I read the one shots.

Anyways that got me thinking are there any fics out that have Edward or Bella from other parts of the world?

I have read a lot of fanfic and I don't recall any fic that had a character that was from other part of the world besides the usual.

And by usual I mean brittish, aussie etc...

Have you read Brazilian Chocolate by AwsomeSauce76? I haven't read it yet, but it features a Brazilian Bella.

There is also This Side of the Equator by jaxington. In this one Edward is British, but he and Bella first meet in Chile, and then again lator when he moves to Forks as an exchange student in the class that Bella is teaching.

Original fanfic trio is def one I enjoyed a lot, but haven't tried to read the published versions.

I liked the books of City of Bones series, but couldn't stay with the show Shadow Hunters although liked more than the movie

You need to put a space then "width=350" in the first square brackets after the "img":

[ img width=350]http://then the link then the second set of square brackets[ /img]

Remove the space between [ img and [ /. I had to put it otherwise it won't show, it was trying to read it as a picture

I've also started the Angel series. I'm about halfway through the first story.

I'm visiting my parents in northern California. There was some flooding in the area, but not where they live fortunately. There's been some crazy weather in Texas too - but you are okay? What I was hearing was in western Texas only?

I'm a big Vampward fan, so I loved the Angel series. It gets better after she is turned. Plus her Bella is a lot stronger and more like Bella from Gravity. I actually enjoy Bella and Jasper's friendship in the series. Though sometimes the rest of the family treating her like the "baby" can get annoying. Considering she turns out to be the strongest of them all in a way.

There are some places that were hit by tornadoes and I was a little worried due to all the lightning that was associated with the storm system as it came across Texas. However, by the time it reached us, the electrical and tornado component had calmed down. We had a full wet day, but no flooding, no high winds, no real problems. It was a nice change since we've had quite a bit of area flooding over the last couple of years.

I've been on a drotuno kick lately, but I have not yet finished the first story in the Angel series. It's okay so far. I'm also reading a couple of HP stories which have more of my attention at the moment. But I skip around since I'm also re-reading Master of the Universe, mostly because there's so much about the "getting back together" portion of the story that I don't remember.

I'm trying to read Full Chroma by suddenlysandi and dear god.... i like the plot but trying to read it it's like somebody trowing stuff at me and trying to catch everything. There's a lot going on, I'm not sure if I should keep reading.

Okay, its been awhile, can you give me quick summary of the 1st if you don't mind? I have read a lot in between

That's probably a very brief highlight of it. I guess I like it because it feels like a continuation of the original. Bella and Edward are always together once the get back together at the beginning. And there are a lot of fun family times like karaoke, bets, cheating at games, etc.... This continues into the second one that picks up a few years later with new adventures. There is a war kind of thing in the second. Don't want to give too much away. Bella and Edward discover their connection is more than a normal connection making it difficult for them to be apart. This becomes a big thing in the third story. Edward decides he wants to be a doctor again, but the hours end up being a problem. The fourth one is totally different in that it is pretty much all about a "haunted" house they buy.

Drotuno adds characters that you end up loving as much as the Cullens.

I find I either love her stories or find them totally annoying. They are definitely different. And sometimes really hard to follow. I haven't read Full Chroma yet. And? There may be a reason for it.

That's my take on it.

The thing that bugs me about the first part of MOTU is that Edward keeps talking about how he can be trusted not to push her more than she can take. But he totally ignores all of his own rules, common sense, and shows he CAN'T be trusted not to push her more than she can take.
