Last fanfic i read was Me & Mr. Cullen in January. Glad it finally finished. But am still not in the mood to read more twific.

Currently re-reading Ashley's Rock Chick Series. Am now about to re-read the 5th, Luke's story. Loving the series more during this re-read. Somehow "knowing" the characters endears them more to me and i better appreciate their situation/story. Forgot how badass Jules was in Renegade. Would even re-read her fight scenes like the one in Smithie's. Awesome! What chick wouldn't want to be that cool!

I was planning on reading her new one, The Deep End. Sadly, the first chapter didn't grab me as her work normally does. So i decided to go back to Rock Chick and read RC Revenge.

Rock Chick 5 (Luke) and 7 (Hector) are my favorite Rock Chick books! I'm going to read The Deep End, but I'm in the middle of a P&P story I have to finish first.

I'm a color addict, and I've often thought of doing the same thing, shaving it all off and getting back to basics! I don't have the guts though, so I just end up with a short cut, and keep trimming it til the color's gone. Then go and color it back up again, lmao.

Oh Lord, ladies. I am finally reading and getting into Dusty (don't ask why I didn't before, because I have NO idea) but it's killing me slowly. I am about 1/4 way through, and I know that we're so far from a HEA at this moment, but gosh.
Am I going to keep feeling like I want to punch everyone, and my heart one beat from failing the whole time......

Edited to add: Wait... there is an HEA right? Of some sort? Or am I just going to want to throw my kindle and curl up in a closet somewhere...

LOL! That's actually kind of mean. Did you answer the question is it an HEA or did you answer the question the story is a horrible heart fail with no real ending that can be called happy?

I haven't read it so I can't really say.

It looks better than her attempts at sex hair where she looks like death warmed over. Not sure if it would have looked as good if she hadn't have gone blonde or without makeup. I'm guessing that it is for a part she is doing?

No clue. I just know she showed up at a premiere like that. It seems like all the male actors are growing their hair longer, and adding beards. Now the girls are going to see how little hair they can get away with?

I just remember Dusty was too angsty for me. I would have thrown my Kindle. Just like I almost did reading A Matter of Convenience by Spotzle. Not that it has a bad ending. But that my Kindle version gets to chapter 8 and it turns to gibberish. With a few real words mixed in. Sigh. Is no ending worse than a bad ending? And for some reason the PDF is not on my Google drive.

Yeah, that is strange. I'm not a big fan of beards. But I realize some parts require it. I mean, I doubt vikings shaved.

I'm into dramione at the moment. However, I have my Twilight WIPs and usually at least one completed story that I'm chipping away at even if my current obsession is elsewhere. I can't give up Edward and Bella.

Beauty and the Beast with Emma Watson opens at the end of the week. It's on my schedule for next weekend. Anyone else planning on seeing it?

I usually like les16 stories, but I've not read that one. I'm still reading the first story in drotuno's Angel series. I keep getting distracted by Pride & Prejudice and Harry Potter fanfiction. I'm into dramione at the moment. However, I have my Twilight WIPs and usually at least one completed story that I'm chipping away at even if my current obsession is elsewhere. I can't give up Edward and Bella.

Beauty and the Beast with Emma Watson opens at the end of the week. It's on my schedule for next weekend. Anyone else planning on seeing it?

I'm finding it to be a little wordy. She goes back an forth between points of view and there is a lot of repetitiveness. Also, there is this underlying angst that she hasn't fully explained. There is an underlying "poor Bella" theme that is annoying in that they don't think "Poor Seth - he lost his dad when he was young" or Poor Rosalie and Jasper - they lost their parents in a car crash when they were teens" So it is a little annoying to me because other than the fact that her mother didn't love her, she hasn't explained why Bella is worse off than the others.

I'll probably wait for the DVD on Beauty and the Beast. I can't make it through a whole movie without needing a bathroom break.

I remembered a thread about non I hea and couldn't remember if this was on list. I'm at 70% now though so I would have been in it until the end either way, would just need to prepare my poor heart.

Your very question explains why I've never read it.

I only recently read The Perfect Wife by rmcrms5, and that was only because I read a tip of what chapter to skip ahead to if you want to skip the graphic stuff. Reading EP changed my limits of enjoying angst. I loved it, but it made me look into the reality outside the fic and found the RL horror. I read to escape reality.

Oh, and I'm reading the final Vlad and Leila book, Into the Fire, (from Jeaniene Frost's Night Prince series - a great spinoff to her addictive Night Huntress series *love Cat and Bones*). I had to reread the whole series for the conclusion. I'm thrilled to learn another spinoff, the Night Rebel series, featuring Ian and Veritas, is to come! Love this world building.

Any good Pride and Prejudice fics recently?

I was planning on taking my daughter to see the new Beauty and the Beast, but I think 5 is a little young for a live action Beast, here is it rated 8+. My husband doesn't want to go (he wants to see the other giant beast that falls in love with a girl - Kong) so I'll have to find someone else to go with.

There's lots of Dusty discussion there from people who were reading it as it was being written. It was an agonizing journey. As I recall, we had quite a discussion about the ending and what it meant. Loopy might still be willing to talk about it. Our biggest Dusty fan hasn't been on the thread in a long while. I think she moved on to Outlander and has given up Twifics.
