There's lots of Dusty discussion there from people who were reading it as it was being written.  It was an agonizing journey.  As I recall, we had quite a discussion about the ending and what it meant. Loopy might still be willing to talk about it.  Our biggest Dusty fan hasn't been on the thread in a long while.  I think she moved on to Outlander and has given up Twifics.

In my opinion the way Dusty ended was kind of perfect, as I think that the ending just leaves it up to the reader to decide how things turn out, like does E get clean and stay clean this time, does B go on to have a full college education or does she quit to be with E, do they go on to have a family etc. I like to think that they got their sh!t together at some point in the future.

This is probably why Dusty is one of my all time faves that I read at least once a year.

I was planning on taking my daughter to see the new Beauty and the Beast, but I think 5 is a little young for a live action Beast, here is it rated 8+.  My husband doesn't want to go (he wants to see the other giant beast that falls in love with a girl - Kong) so I'll have to find someone else to go with.

I think, if you're a straight female, if you have a pulse, you would like looking at a half-naked (or more) Hemsworth!

Your very question explains why I've never read it.

Oh, and I'm reading the final Vlad and Leila book, Into the Fire, (from Jeaniene Frost's Night Prince series - a great spinoff to her addictive Night Huntress series *love Cat and Bones*). I had to reread the whole series for the conclusion. I'm thrilled to learn another spinoff, the Night Rebel series, featuring Ian and Veritas, is to come! Love this world building.

Awesome! A new Frost series starring Ian! I purposely waited for Vlad's 4th book to come out before starting that series. After Rock Chick Rewind (he he), i may read that one next.
