Wow! I feel so inadequate. None of these scenes are remotely familiar to me. I don't really read vampwards much, even when i was still heavily into twific $:-\$ Good luck finding these stories again!

Thank you for the suggestion but what is FFG's site? I'm unfamiliar with it. Also, I don't recall responding to any posts regarding CMSteele (but then again apparently there's limited space in my brain and information does seem to fall out of it when new information is added ;-) but if I did, you're welcome! )

FFG (FanFicGirl) has another board on here for searching for twilight fanfics. You post all you can remember and then see if someone else remembers the story for you. I think that this link is for E&B stories and I believe that there is a non-cannon board as well. If I am wrong someone please correct me.

I hope this isn't a sign of how today is going to go, I got up this morning and was happy to see TWO update alerts for Starting Over by Collegeteaaddict, but when I clicked on the first one I got the dreaded "Story not found" message. I PM'd the author, I hope it is going back up.

I heard back from her, sadly the bullies got to be too much and she pulled her story.

Why can't people just stop reading if they don't like a fic instead of PMing and reviewing nasty comments?

There are too many people in this world who want everyone else to be as bitter and unhappy as they are. I assume being an anonymous troll who causes someone else pain makes them feel powerful, rather than the small, spiteful creatures they are.

I just had to spend an evening with my 13 year old explaining, once more, the evil that lives on the internet. Luckily, not because he's experienced it, but to protect him from it.

I heard from her again and she is looking for a site with fewer trolls and bullies where she can more safely post.

Any suggestions?

That is just sad. Why do people have to be haters?

But have to say, if one is willing to post something out there, she should be prepared to have thick skin too.

I refuse to blame the victims of trolls and bullies. The authors need to have thick skins to deal with constructive criticism and the fact that not everyone will like what they write. But NO ONE should be subject to abuse. Unfortunately, too many people hide behind the anonymity of the internet and subject innocent people to their vitriol. We should rally around and support the victims and sites should not allow anonymous reviews and ban those who are repeatedly abusive.

Agree. Constructive criticism is good. Never hate/abuse. It takes a lot of guts to write and post it. This is why i can't give lower than a 2 star rating in goodreads. I even feel bad about giving that but it helps remind me not to read that author again as i really didn't like her work for me to give a 2.

I no longer go on any other "reading" sites and have long since boycotted fanfiction.net. I don't like to read nasty reviews or learn about any drama caused by the reviewers. I tune them out/avoid like the plague.

This is why i stick to ella's google drive and the recs here. We have been lucky to have no haters here and i hope it stays that way forever

I stumble whenever i come across errors (grammatical or otherwise)... just when things were heating up, this made me laugh instead. Ruins the flow for me $:-\$

I loved that story. Yes the grammar was/is atrocious, but the story was good enough that it sucked me in. My only complaint is

Here's another gem:
"...with her arm so far back,her chest was pushed forward, and her breasts thrust foreword and up."

Guess she didn't want to use "forward" twice in one sentence so she became creative

Again, the mistakes are at interesting parts. Still a light, fluffy read, made even funnier by these gems.So i will continue on to finish the last 50 pages AND read its sequel. Hey, am having fun so this is shaping up to be a 3 stars

Yes, she does this too!!! For example, using "know" instead of "no". This type of thing, over and over again...😂

Another favorite: "He stretched my ##$%gasm" ... what?? 😂
