I loved that story. Yes the grammar was/is atrocious, but the story was good enough that it sucked me in. My only complaint is

Im about to starts drotuno's Broken Angel. I like her stories I've read the other series like 3 times but I don't know why I never finished this one, I remember I read a few chapters a few years ago but I stopped.

Are they good? Should I read them?

Yes, I think well worth the read. I read the 1st quite a while back and couldn't remember why I stopped, so I got a good summary from Ella (oh and she mentioned and I think I agree that I liked 2,3 and 4 even better) and just tore through the rest of them.

It does go through abuse with jake in the beginning at first, but moves on.

I'm having trouble reading the first chapters and not because of the abuse. I just keep cringing at some of the things, I want to keep going because I loved the Blood & Gory series so this have to be as good.   :P

Howdy! I kept seeing everyone on GR raving about the latest Charley Davidson book by Darynda Jones, so I decided to give the series a go even though there weren't any vampires, shifters, fae or Atlanteans. Whoa...it completely sucked me in. Really funny supernatural series about a young woman who works as a perpetually broke PI and "the" Grim Reaper. She's also got a really spastic case of ADD, which reminded me of Bella from the Cube series (by SuddenlySandi? Maybe SDFreeze?). I finished the latest (11th) book yesterday only to find it ended on one helluva cliffie. Grrrr. I have to say I would be much more angry if it hadn't been so good. If you're curious to try Jones' writing without investment, the short story (about 30 pages, aka book 3.5 of the Charley Davidson series that can stand alone) FOR I HAVE SINNED is awesome.

So, maybe I'm not in the mood to try Crimson Horizons right now even though it sounds like my kind of fic. I don't have the patience for incomplete series after the CD saga/cliffie.

To follow up on the fic chatter: Loved Eternally Damned, Shields of Power, and Aluthsia University (despite the grammar on the last two). Number Our Days was good too. I think I'm going to try the Angel series again as I read it many years ago, though I might not have gone past book one.

I love the idea of a doc to write those random scenes you can't un-remember or place. Great idea!

Today I read Instinct by hisbella

to get back into my twific groove and liked it well enough. However, it didn't quite satisfy the hankering I've been having for an Irishward lately. (I reread This Life a few months ago, and wasn't ready for Volition again).

My biggest problem has been that my tablet stopped recognizing my microSD card and is telling me it's safe to remove it, which is CRAZY. Most of it is backed up to my Google Drive, but I had over 1200 books and a dozen movies (which are definitely not backed up) on here! I have no idea what happened. When I reinserted the card, it asked me if I want to format it! Freaking technology. I'm not coming up with any ideas on how to download that many files easily, not to mention what I'm losing.

My best news, which is quite lame indeed, is that - after three months - I finally remembered my laptop password. I had it on a pad next to my computer until I decided that was a dangerous place, so I hid it and couldn't remember where. Completely forgot. I've become the crazy cat lady that never married, who forgets things and lives in books. A little sad, but not that bad actually.

On a lighter note, a friend of mine was ordering a new bed on Amazon Prime and what they were offering for pairings was hilarious. She said she has no idea why they offered her these items, but...

Honestly you could skip that part and not miss anything. Everything pertinant is discussed in less detail later. Watch for the key words Victoria or Edward :)

Unexpected Circumstances by Savage7289 (in the index).
Summary: When a knight from another kingdom wins his choice of bride, he claims the handmaid instead of the princess. Isabella finds herself married and tossed into the middle of political schemes. What happens when she can't give him the one thing he must have?

Thanks for this rec! Started it after dinner and am now on Chapter 4. It is hilarious! Loving the quirky character, the storyline, the wise cracks... can't wait to read the rest of the series. But will make sure to stop at book 10 until book 12 comes out.  :P

Thank you very much for the indication, I read Unexpected Circumstances by Savage7289, which is absolutely wonderful but that's not what i'm looking for. In Unexpected Circumstances was no arranged marriage and Edward take Bella.
What I'm looking for is an arranged marriage where Edward was already seeing someone before and did not give up that relationship because of the marriage.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had any stories that are similar to Behind Enemy Lines by Taraiha. I am left severely wanting for a finish, however she has said it is on hold indefinitely. So I need something close to it, to satisfy my curiosity.
Thanks so much!

Just wondering if there is a resource that gives descriptions of the uploaded stories on here since I know that most are pulled now.

No, although you can look at the post where the story was uploaded or requested.  Sometimes those posts will talk about the plot line.  Otherwise, all you can do is open the story and see if it has a summary.  Unfortunately, not all of them do.
Please search before requesting or posting.  Check the You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login for uploaded Twilight fanfiction.

I needed a laugh today and this did the trick:

He look afraid and he should as I went straight for the juggler.

I don't think I know of a single person who is afraid of jugglers (unless their uses knives of course).  :D :D

Rereading stuff.  Just finished Just4ale American Vampire series. In the last book, Born to be a Vampire, there is a character Fuzzy aka Robert. Anyone figure out who he is supposed to be?

Thanks, are they mostly on 152 forum or a little bit of everywhere? I have gone through most of the twific recs for vampire fics, so just wondering where I am going to search next :)
