I don't read WIPs. I keep them updated until they are complete and then move them to my ever growing TBR list.

Well, it's been a while since I read a new WIP, usually I only read regular updaters.  But when I started Torn it was pretty regularly updated. And now there are few updates that are problems. As in she doesn't usually have cliffhangers in this story.

I am reading one story now that is so full of errors its crazy, but my favorite is how Flexi and Felix are interchangeable.

And you really have to watch out for those "distributing thoughts"

So I found an Actorward I hadn't read yet. It's okay so far. But then Bella gets an ear infection that turns into a sinus infection and a little pneumonia. The pneumonia is only the size of a quarter so it's not too bad yet.

So, you know, I've never had pneumonia. But I understand the physical concept of it. And the size of a quarter never comes up when describing it.   

After so many years of reading fanfic I've learned to power through SPaG, the use of the wrong homynym, and the use of words that the author clearly doesn't know the meaning of, among other shortcomings (it is FREE after all).  But this one was pretty funny:

"Goosebumps broke on my skin, but my body heated up to bowling point."

Might I add, that she wasn't bowling...  Although something was headed up her lane..

Yeah, I pretty much write off the SPaG errors unless they are so bad on something that is supposed to be serious.

Well, it seems we have hit the year everything in the house is starting to die. I had to get a new dishwasher a couple months ago and now the disposal is dead and leaking. Sigh. Fortunately, my husband can do minor stuff like this.

To all moms and single dads that fill both roles.

This looks good. I decided I would read it even thought it's a WIP. But then I saw she published in 2013 and said it's 60 chapters long.

I'll read once it's completed.

I just got back from seeing Swan Lake, its the first time I've been to the ballet, so now I want to read ballet fanfic.  I read a whole bunch of them a while back, but I haven't transferred by old Calibre library to my new computer yet.  Anyone have any good ballet fanfic recs?  I remember one that the sequel was a wip but it involved Jake at a rival academy.

No problem. I remembered asking a similar question a few years ago, but couldn't find the post. I went on a ballet bender and thought I wrote it up. Oh well.

It would appear that my ballet bender was back in 2013, and sadly only one of the four stories on my WIP list is now complete

I'm re reading Kulti and I'm noticing things that I didn't the first time I read it. There are a few spelling errors and some sentences have words missing, I don't really mind but I mean some people paid like 20 bucks for this book.
