Hey! Do you guys know if there will be an Age of Edward context this year!

I was wondering if anyone knew of some good Bella and Edward stories where both or one are shapeshifters/can change into animals/are animals (not limited to ones that exist)

I was reading one where Bella shifts into cats, but I wouldn't call it good. And there's another where Bella shifts into a bear. But I'm blanking on the name.

I think I know the cat one... she can shift into different cats and they all have different names( i think one was named Bellatrix). yeah, it wasn't that good.

Ok, I can't take this anymore. I just can't read another fanfiction about Alice bossing Bella around and her agreeing to do/wear anythings Alice wants, even if it goes against who Bella is in that story. 

I don't know if anyone has asked before, but please, please, I'm begging you, can anyone recommend some good complete stories about Bella standing up to Alice, or about Alice being put to her place by anyone, or even evil Alice, so I can really hate her? Like in "First and Last" by miallie.h.

P.S. I don't mean to offend anybody or start a debate about Alice's character, I'm just getting tired of the fact that she manipulates everybody to do everything she wants, and some fanfiction writer just take it too far.

Just reading Just Breath by jtmd24 and this has bad vampire Alice. Not a bad story.

I know what you mean though.  In the books, Alice is a shopaholic by necessity - they go through clothes like crazy, especially Em and Rose.  She tells them what to do because she is a psychic and when they make a decision, she sees the results. She usually tells them to decide something different.  They listen to her because it is part of how they stay secret and are able to live the way they do.  Some how, when this crosses over to humans Alice becomes a shopaholic, bossy, know-it-all who demands everyone follow her every whim.

This one has a Bella that does eventually stand up to Alice.  Of course, Bella starts out as a kid and likes Alice.  It has an Evil Renee.    You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

If you're interested in Jasper/Bella pairings where Alice is a evil and/or a bitch, Airedalegirl1 has a lot of them, and one she's doing a re-write on right now, New Beginnings, is a Bad Alice story (I read the original - it was really good) and although it's a WIP she updates every day and she's very reliable.  Here's the link:

What can I say about experiencing this incredible fic? That I was so impressed after reading just the first few chapters, I immediately, shamelessly & relentlessly pestered the author so I could pretty please serve as beta? That's exactly what happened. Should I swear that I would happily read it all in a heartbeat, more than once, if I were not the beta? Absolutely.

*Fair Warning: you may not believe how quickly you will fall head-over-heels - at times, from the edge of your seat - under the spell this story casts over all its readers, no matter what genre of fanfic they usually prefer; mostly because it skillfully & seamlessly weaves together so many*

At first, I think you will be pleasantly surprised and intrigued - both by the unusual premise of this story, and by the unique tone and quality of the writing. Soon enough, however, you should find yourself even more enthralled by the way this author and her characters effortlessly manage to immerse you completely into the entirely original universe she has created.

In no time, I predict you will get so wrapped up in the way this woman can set a mood and transcribe an other-worldly scene so vividly from her imagination that you'll feel like you are right there - in the story, in her head, looking over the characters' shoulders - feeling what they feel... seeing what they see... reacting to them as if they'd just spoken or reached out to you.

A few more things to love: this story is deep. And it's in it for the big picture.

Yes, you get plenty of twists, suspense, romance, action and emotional developments that can happen in a single chapter; but you'll also feel the power of those same themes and aspects running at a different pace, carefully built up and plotted as an undercurrent humming with electricity... all wired to be incredibly powerful when the author (and the reader) has the patience to let them thread together and unfold, naturally, in some most unnatural circumstances.

So, just to recap, mysteriously: this is a rugged, sexy, poignant, practical, metaphysical, thoughtful, thrilling, action-adventure-imagination-innovation-mythology-historical-futuristic-intimate-universal-immediately gratifying yet longhaul-unfolding & fulfilling love story that sets its sights high and aims for a vast horizon - mapping both the internal and the external landscape of its characters. It encompasses everything from how we emotionally & intellectually connect each other via the past and the present, to how we perceive our place in the universe, to new ways of thinking about how we structure our societies and preserve our personal relationships and environments... and what we might have to do in order to survive and thrive, together, if we want a future.

Just read it. Then, this crazy review might actually make sense.. and then you'll forget this review altogether, as you should... because the story itself is so far beyond anything you might hope to expect that you'll get completely caught up in all of it when you do.
