We're all well.  Really, the biggest problem for me is that so many businesses are closed because employees are displaced.  Services and supplies we take for granted are not yet available.  Basics are hit and miss at the store.  Same issue at the office with services and supplies.  It feels normal where I live, but venturing out even a little bit - even to eat out - you find out quickly that it's not normal.

I agree, I also think it looks like a scene out of Breaking Dawn 2 - same face and the running and jumping.

I have mixed emotions about the new perfume commercial featuring Kristen Stewart.  Probably because I have mixed emotions about Kristen Stewart.  Anyone else noticed this commercial?

I looked it up on youtube. I don't really see how it is supposed to make me want to buy the perfume, but then again I am most likely not their target demographic since I wear perfume so rarely.  I glad she has hair again, the shaved head, blonde look was a bit too much for me.

Guess who is alive and kicking?

Long time no see!  How are you doing?  It has been a little quieter here this year.  A lot of the regulars no longer read TwiFics.  Probably because there are so few new ones that are really good.

I'm doing great! Just finished my Masters degree and looking for teaching jobs. I'll admit I haven't read an new Twific in a couple of years, sometimes I revisit the ones that I used to love but I mostly read books pretty veraciously now. Got onto Goodreads and am pretty much a woman obsessed.

How is everyone else around here?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some recommendations for some new fics. I just finished 'In Your World' and it was so good! I feel like I've read almost all the top fics as I've been reading for years. Any popular stories that got pulled to publish that are on this site? I"m really not picky with any type as I'll read almost anything. Thanks!

Just a heads up.  Another Twilight fiction site is closing:

"FreeWriters and Readers (FWAR) will close its doors 9/20/2017.

It wasn't as hard to type that sentence as I thought it would be. We've been open since May of 2010.  We've hung on longer than all the other small networks originally created for the Twilight fandom. At one time we had over 3,000 members when the fandom was at its peak.  It was loads of fun, and we made lots of new friends, but life changes and people move on to other things, including me.

My focus for the next two years is going to be helping my daughter complete her Radiology Technology degree so she can get established in a stable career, reading all the books I've not had time to read the past 7 years, creating artwork, and occasionally putting pen to paper when something inspires me.  To paraphrase a popular saying (and add my own OTB spin to it lol): "Don't be sad it's over. Smile because it happened. And all because of a vampire love story written twelve years ago."

There are some P2P fics archived on the site.  I think we have everything they have, but I've not thoroughly checked.  They also have ongoing stories and maybe some completed ones that are not on ffn.  I think when one of those Jacob Black and wolf pack oriented sites closed a lot of the authors migrated to FWAR.  Anyway, check it out before they shut down.
