I find her less annoying when I watch them in German

Eclipse is my favorite of the books and the movies.  I thought KStew was less annoying and a little truer to the books in Eclipse than she was in the other movies.  In the books Bella is totally dazzled and in love with Edward.  The books talk about how she never pulled away from Edward until she finally does a little at the end of the last book so she can let him into her mind.  In the movies, she's constantly pulling away from him.

I watched Death Comes to Pemberley and had a similar problem.  I normally love PD James, but I really felt she was not true to the Pride and Prejudice characters in this story.  In P&P, it's clear that Col. Fitzwilliam is charming and funny. PD James makes him broody and suspicious.  Maybe she had to do it to make the story work, but it just didn't feel right.

Can I ask a question about something that bothers me on the site? 

On the search topic, I answered someone's request and at almost the same time another person did too - now my post is gone.

This happened another time and I didn't ask then, but I'll be honest I found it disrespectful and didn't respond to requests I knew the answer to (or post anything else either) for a long time after.  It made me feel like my response wasn't considered important.

I try very hard to make sure my posts don't violate any guidelines here and to be a helpful member of this site.

I'll be honest, I like seeing evidence that people are seeing the request and don't mind seeing more than one response - it lets people know that when they are looking for a story, people are out there and want to help.

Is there some rule I am not aware of?

They were on the same page and yours wasn't there when I started writing my post (I saw it on the same page when mine posted). 

I understand what you are trying to do, but i wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't the only one who at times has been surprised to see their post disappear. 

Now that I know, I'll try not to be offended.

We get these kinds of requests all the time.  May I suggest you put vampward in the search box to see what's been suggested recently?  Same thing for olderward.
