I am looking for an Edward and Bella story. This is what I remember:
It is a Halloween one shot. Edward is a ghost or spirit. They can only spend one night together and then Edward has to go back to his world. I don’t remember the reason they only had one night.  They go to a park, Starbucks and a club. It is a sad ending. I think the title is Only Once but I am not sure. I can’t remember the author at all.
I hope someone remembers it. I would like to read it again.  Thanks!

Hoping you can help me find this Bella/Edward fic: Bella is single and a stage designer. Her mother keeps setting her up with guys from her church. She goes on a rather disastrous date with Mike. She goes to a dinner party with the Cullens and meets Edward. He's there with a date (I think Jessica). Jessica talks smack about Bella because Bella's willing to design weddings for free (for friends) because she believes in true love. Edward and the group listen to Bella sing at a wedding and at church choir practice. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any help with the name of fic/author would be appreciated.

This is what I remember...

Edward is a young dad. He lives in almost poverty as he was disowned by his parents for becoming a parent at 15/16? The baby was left at his parents, they throw him out right there and then - with nothing... Rose might be the mother who lies about it but can't remember.
He is now 20/21 and his daughter goes to school, he works for Garrett in a music store. He meets Bella at the school gate while she is there to pick up her younger sister and they become friends. She also knows Jasper from college who is dating Alice or he ends up dating her, she is Edward's sister?
Edward gets beaten up by James? As he won't work for him maybe?? and Emmett, his brother, comes to help/stay with him while he recovers - not letting their parents know where he is because they would get angry he is seeing Edward.
I think Em invites him home telling him that everything will be fine, it's not and he ends up having to walk to get home. Also I don't think Esme and Carlisle are his parents, they might be related though.

Any help will be muchly appreciated xxx

Hi, I don't think we're talking about the same story...
I don't remember much, but what I do remember is that Edward and Rosalie are siblings, Emmet is Edward's bestfriend (oooh I just remember that the place where Edward lives is owned by Emmet's parents because he can't afford another place!!!!). I'm not sure but I think Carlisle and Esme are Edward and Rosalie's parents. Rosalie is a daddy's girl, and follows in her dad's footspets in working for the company. Rosalie is very protective of Edward and tries to help him anyway she can, but her fiancé or husband, Royce, who works for her father as well doesn't approve of her helping her brother and he is abusive. Emmet is in love with Rosalie and hates Royce's guts. Edward and Bella are both in college and I think they have a class in common. She doesn't know about his baby (I'm sure it's a baby and not a toddler nor a child). I think the baby's mother was a drug addict, and the reason why Edward's father disown him was because Edward decided to take care of the baby instead of giving the baby to the girl's parents. The girl's parents are doing their best to prove that Edward is not fit to take care of the baby hence the involvement of child protective services (I'm so sorry i'm french so I don't remember how those services are called, I think I confused them with childcare the first time).
Anyway, they try to take the baby's away from him.
Bella, at some point is torn between her feelings for Edward, and the fact that she can't see herself as someone's stepmother while she's so young.

That's about everything I can remember...I guess

I don't know about you guys but I kind of prefer to read some story as they were originally written with Edward and Bella in mind even if it's just for their names. And don't get me wrong, if the story is good I will still buy the books!!!! But as I said before, I'm French and I am not patient at all, so I'm not willing to wait about 2-3 years (at best) for (French) editors to buy a book, translate it, sell it (first in France then about 6 months later where I live which is in the middle of Indian Ocean). And let's not talk about how I hate French translation!!!! Yeah I know I'm french, but I think M-rated scenes are much hotter when I read them in English because I imagine words being said in English (by a sexy American or English ) (and I think that's the same for many people as I'd rather hear crude words in a different language than in my mother tongue...

God, I'm really sorry for my ramblings...
Hope I didn't bore anyone with my nonsense and that someone will see what story I was talking about!!!!

Hi again!! I have a question about a fanfic called "I want you to want me" by the perisher. I know she wrote several chapters that are still available in ff.net and after a while she stopped because she didn't want to continue, but she gave permission for someone else to finish the story. Did some other author continue her fanfic? I'd love to read the complete story if that's the case, and it's a pity she lost interest, because she was pretty good.
