Names are usually given to us by our parents but if it was you, the one who could decide it, what other name would you choose ?

My new name would be a symbol like Prince and no one would know it! an ohm or something, fed up of people having such free access to me :-X  :-X :P
But if I must choose I like Isabella. It feels nice rolling off your tongue.

I like my name, but when my son asked what I was reading I read him the post.  He looked at me and said "mommy I want to be called Mickey Mouse!"  He's three. .   :)

It comes from a long standing joke.  Ed McBain would often call his readers Gertie when he was typing a note to them on his site or in an article.    McGillicutty comes from Lucille Ball's one tv show.  The two just got combined and we ended up with Gertrude McGillicutty.
