Help with my Tablet
« on: February 13, 2014, 03:11 PM »
I have a generic tablet (I think that's what it is called) it uses android 4.0 . Everything was fine up until a few days ago when I noticed that the battery jumps from 75% to 35% ..what 's weird it's that the battery runs out in the same amount of time as before this started to happen.
If anyone knows why this happens? Should I change the battery?
Thanks for your help

You mean battery Is running as same, the battery keep your device powered properly for they X hours.
I guess it might be that some kind of problem in calculation of battery charge.
Nothing so troublesome.
If battery if fine, and you get enough juice to do whatever you do with it.
then no need to buy a New Battery.

What is the manufacturer of your tablet?  If it's a cheap Chinese brand tablet, then I would recommend getting your money back of exchanging it for a well known brand name.  As those cheap Chinese brand tablets are notoriously unreliable and I speak from experience.  I've been trying to fix my parent's old Ainol Novo 7 Crystal Quad Core tablet for over 6 months now!

The brand is Argom Tech, it might be chinese I really don't know...as for buying a well known brand name I can't afford them...Here in Venezuela Ipads and samsung tablets ..etc, are almost 5 or 6 times their cost in dollars...So far of my budget  :'(...
And with our political and economic situation trying to buy it online it's very difficult....So I'm kind of stuck , as for my tablet  the only glitch so far is this battery thing ...
Thanks for your input :-*

Yeah, it's definitely just a re-branded Chinese tablet by a local manufacturer.  The only thing I can say is be carefull and if it starts to heat up when you doing anything apart from playing 3D graphics intensive games.  Throw it away as it has definitely developed a technical problem either with it's motherboard or battery pack.
