hello :)
« on: January 05, 2012, 05:04 PM »
Hi! I am new to STP, as I got a Kindle for Christmas to use for lecture notes and was eager to start finding things to read on it! I don't have a big collection yet, so I'm afraid I don't have anything to upload and share with everyone yet, but I hope to be able to soon enough :). Any suggestions are welcome for things to read (especially series books!).  Currently I have been reading the Game of Thrones, Dragonlance, Infernal Devices, and Shopaholic series.  I am no longer a teenager (22) so I am looking for some more "grown up" books to read still within the romance/comedy/fantasy genre, though I don't think I will ever stop enjoying some of the YA books :D

Not sure what else to say about myself... but I'm excited to be a part of the STP community :)

Hi Sneewittchen,
Welcome to the STP community!

STP is excited you are here! Book recommendations...hmmm...I personally love Kresley Cole's Immortals after Dark, J.R Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood & Alexandra Ivy's Guardians of Eternity to start. There are so many book/series/author discussions around here you won't have any trouble finding new reading material. I've read the Game of Thrones and Dragonlance in hardcover/paperback format. Really good books! When you get a moment please take a moment to read somethings that have been put together for all members:

Some tricks for searching: Use either the book, series or author and change it to "entire forum". To bring up Advanced Search enter just 1 letter. Also putting "quotation marks" around the name, author or series will help narrow the search as well. Searching is tricky but do your best. Everyone here is very nice as I'm sure you'll find out.

Do you see a thread you want to follow? Use the notify button. It will email you when something is posted in that thread!

Downloading a book? Please take a moment to click the Thank You button. It's the least you can do for the kind person who took the time & spent their money to upload it. :)

Hope this helps and remember if you have any questions help is just a PM away! :D
