You are going to find a lot to read around here lol! Why do you have to fix your documents?
Oh, I have a knack of reading my PDF files via mobile. So by that, I always 'reformat' the PDF file I have so that I can read it in my phone without scrolling to the right or left at all. Then I tend to delete the original... So. Yeah. ... It would be weird if I upload a mobile version of PDF here, it might be uncomfortable to read for some XDThanks for welcoming me btw, I read the Rules and Author's not to be put in here I'm pretty good to go.
Oh I see! I got the Kindle app for my phone & read off that lol. Why haven't you switched to epub? A lot of people are now, even my public libraries! I'm glad you read the rules! You seem pretty forum savvy, compared to some that just aren't.
Aha, problem right there. My phone do not support epub nor mobi. :\ I also do not know where to download an app for that.(Lol, lol before we get confused: my phone isn't iPhone or Android or etc. It's Nokia.. so yeah.)Consider me unlucky but I still get by with PDF Glad you think so. To the other forums, my savvy-ness isn't being appreciated enough lol.
OIC lol. Will your phone hold a whole book? My old one wouldn't. As for not appreciating you, well I believe that is another reason why STP really stands apart from them.
Oh yes. I have like 2 gig space on my phone, and since the original is on my laptop I just delete after.Yes, this forum does differ in a good way /lethumbsup.
Thanks! Mr Admin works really hard to keep it that way too.
^ Ninja editing right there lolActually I think it's pretty a good win-win situation. The forum stays but there is just a Opt list. It's better than the messy suing part, continuous debating, etc. And frankly, I never saw the Authors do that kind of rally in other forums such as these where the piracy are really blunt you know? At least here, we know the reasons and limitations on sharing this books, reference, etc but on the other site-it's just throughout piracy.
Oh geez sorry! That darn button is right next to the quote button. We are lucky some authors recognize that sharing happens and are willing to let us in order to get their name out there. We have been able to show that their sales increased but that's blasphemy to others lol.
Yes. And I'm like one of those people who when I really liked an e-book, I'll buy the real thing.I don't know what to think of the author's that thinks that way, they treat it as a peeve rather than a advantage. :\
welcome to the forum. I am a newbie like you also and loves to read books.
Me too but only if I can find a used hard copy in decent shape.
Thanks! Welcome as well & we newbies needs to stick together lol.Oh, I'm a sucker for those $1 book store. Have you ever been in one?Whenever I'm there, I'm just there to browse and ended up buying maybe 3-5 books lol.
You know that's true! The people that I'm closest to here are the ones that joined around the time I did. We have .79 for paperbacks at the thrift stores. I just scoop & run lol.
That's cool. Everyone befriending everyone and nothing hurts lolOh and next time you do that scopping and running around, get some for me too.I can't stop but really imagine someone just scooping and dashing out. XDPeople are going to shrug because it's only .79 =))
lol quite a visual I agree!
I have a flair for imaginations lol---------------------------------------------------------Self-update: Finished the Chaos Walking Trilogy. All the awards should be given. I could stalk Patrick Ness to make him do another sequel because I need Todd and Viola in my life. Currently reading/Going-to read: Outside In, Variant, Fracture, Cinder, and Wasteland. (Yeah, I have a tendency to overwork myself in books and I regret nothing lol)
