Hi Olga, love the Sookie Stackhouse books. Have all of them in hardcover. Have you seen True Blood on tv? Season 4 should just about be done showing here in Canada.
Yes, I agree that the story line is no longer following the books. I read a lot of books and memory isn't what it used to be but wasn't Lafayette knocked off in the books. I thought his body was found dead in a car. On the tv version this happened but he wasn't dead. Sometimes I feel very sorry for Andy. He means well. Claudette, Sookie's faire godmother has come late into the tv show. Even the faires aren't what they are in the books. Tv and movies are never as good as the books. I also watch Game of Thrones on HBO and I like the actors\actresses they chose for the parts. No one stands out as "thats not how I pictured the character". So much gets dropped from the books. In both shows, still a good watch.
Hi Drypen, Lafayette has really added to the show. Comic relief at times when the show has so many dark, bloody moments. He plays his part so well, lmao.
