Welcome aboard.

I've got them stored on the list of things to read but somehow the list keeps getting bigger and bigger.   :D

Nice! I've had an ereader (I'm on my 3rd Kindle) for a long time. Do you use your local Libraries digital library? I love mine and have found all kinds of books to read there.

Hello wdt400 !

Welcome to PTS !

It doesn't matter if you're a slow reader or not. The most important thing is that you're enjoying yourself when you do so !  ;)
I got an ereader last summer, but I think it's dying...  :'( Well, I read so much I'm sure I used him already !  :D
I used to read books like Dan Brown and John Grisham - I really liked fortress- but I swiched to historical romances a while back. But I still enjoy a good mystery book from time to time !

Oh that does make it tough. I think the longest you can have a digi book checked out is 21 days.  :(

It's 21 days.  The shortest is 7 days.  Both of mine allow me to return the books after reading but the only way I know of to do that is using Adobe Digital on the computer.

And don't worry about being slow.  The wife was a slow reader.  I use to tell her she chewed every word 12 times before she read the next one.  She said "I am enjoying it"  and that's enough.

If you speed read? You can't turn it off.   You can slow it down a bit for tech things but you can't turn it off.
