I heard Adele's voice the first time when I was in middle high. At that time, I hated her voice to the deep.

After knowing a torrent downloads website, I started to download UK top 40 Singles. Then Adele's songs were always on the chart, even now. I didn't skim any songs of the torrent. On a TV program, a famous Taiwanese female singer talked about her recent favs, she talked heaps about Adele. Then I really started to listen to Adele's songs quite carefully.

I found more in Adele's songs. Tunes, tones, notes, lyrics are all implying, indicating, expressing, conveying something.
Her songs is a memoir of her experience and a book of her growth.

My favorite is Someone Like You. A sad song. I actually wept when thinking of someone while listening to Someone like you.

Rolling in the deep is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's meaningful, deep and very expressive and I specially like the interesting play of words found in the lyrics.
Adele is an incredible artist in every way.
i think the most appreciated songs of Adele are those that has very sad / heartbreaking lyrics.

with regards to rolling in the deep, try to find the version of Chester Bennington (Linkin Park's vocalist). it just has a piano accompaniment. very nice rendition. :)

we do what we do because of who we are.
if we did otherwise, we would not be ourselves.
