Ok, I'm new at this so don't laugh  >:(

I'm doubting to buy a Wii but I get a headache from all those accessories!!! WTH!  :-\
First thing to have is some kind of controller I guess... And I was wondering what the difference is between a classic controller and that Wii nunchuk thing?? Anyone familiar with it?

I used to be completely confused too!! But since my brothers are video game freaks I got taught well :) hehe

The nunchuck is like an add-on, you will need it only for SOME games and when it IS used, it's used for moving characters and stuff.

The classic controller doesn't come with the Wii; that's bought separately when you're going to play virtual console games.

The actual controller you will be using is the Wii remote which is this one. It looks a little complicated to use but it's actually VERY easy! and when you need to use the nunchuck, you attach it to the Wii remote with the cord it has.

Other than that, it's very easy and fun to use ;)

OH  Filouke doesn't know anything about the Wii, everybody laugh! JKD  ;)

Well to make thing sorta easy to understand, the standard Nunchuk controller and Wii remote set suppiled with the Nintendo Wii is used to play the majority of the Wii's games.  It used physical motion tracking technology via a sensor bar and accelerometers (built into the both the Nunchuk and Wii remote), so it tracks the moment of the Nunchuk and Wii remote controller.  Both the Nunchuk and Wii remote have buttons, which can be used to play retrogames brought from the Nintendo online store.

The classic controller is basically a very simple games console controller similar to the likes of the X-Box360, PS3 Controller and the controllers used in older gaming consoles.

No, I don't have a wii.  But I know allot of people who do.  Most of them got it so they can play Goldeneye.  If you want I could recommend you a few games for it?
