I am sure some people will know what I am talking about when I say Dungeon Keeper was a great game. Though it had its share of faults it was still and is still one of the best games I have ever played.
So when Bullfrog went the way of the Dodo and the third instalment was delayed indefinitely and most likely forever since EA brought the copyrights, I and a lot of other people was understandably sad.
But the community lived on in the various corners of the voracious Internet and a conglomerate of these personalities has come together to make War for the Overworld.
As some might remember War for the Overworld was supposed to be the subtitle of the third Dungeon Keeper and since is wasn't copyrighted the team took it and ran with it. And since we already are on the topic some might ask themselves what about EA didn't you say that they have copyright?
Why yes, I did. But that is inconsequential since the extent of the copyright goes to the name itself i.e. Dungeon Keeper.
So while it won't be named after the original, and a few things have to be renamed, the game will be just like the one we remember and love.

Oh and did I mention that it has Unity support, that means that it is playable on Windows, Mac and Linux.
