Mass Effect 3
« on: March 03, 2012, 05:46 PM »
OK so the demo was released back on February 14, and I was wondering who else downloaded it first thing when it came out and what system did you download it for?

Did you preorder the game as soon as possible? I have mine paid off, I sprung for the collector's edition for the extra goodies that come with it and the gamestop exclusive rifle.

Who else is as excited as I am for this thrilling game trilogy to have it's last game out?

My boyfriend is a big fan of the game...he's been playing practically nonstop since the release but it's not my kind of game.

I heard it has 16 DIFFERENT endings. 8) I also heard that some fans were unsatisfied with ALL 16 of them. ??? Gamers are so demanding. ::)

I watched my bf play through the game (several times) and it only has 2 endings and an added secret ending but I read an article online a few days ago that said Amazon (and a few other online stores) are giving full refunds for the game if people are unsatisifed with the ending.....gamers are claiming that Bioware gave false advertising for the game and they're pissed at the ending and want their money back....and I gotta ask, wtf is wrong with gamers today?! Seriously! I don't care if you like it or not, suck it up. If I go to the theater and watch a movie and feel like it should've ended differently I don't throw a hissy fit and demand my money back....

For anyone that's interested, here's a link to one of the articles....

Yea, it's really sad how much of big babies these gamers turn out to be, I may have been sad about some of the things that went down but it's cool, I enjoyed myself with this game. I was thrilled to play it. There are so many things about the game that were exciting. People demanding refunds and going to the bioware forum and throwing a excuse my language but bitch fit are just so equally retarded. They still delivered a good game. So what you die, or live. In a way I can understand the endings and where they went with it. Do I like it? No, but I'm not going to go to Gamestop/Amazon/Walmart etc...etc...and demand money for less than 5 minutes of my life. It's like a customer at my job being stupid. They toured the site, they signed up for the site, and they see one or two things they don't like about it, and instantly they call and demand a refund claiming they were unsatisfied with it. It's not our problem, we just bill for you to gain access, not the content of the site. People have to be ridiculous about everything.

I actually have a friend who writes for an online blog called Gamer's Guide To Life, he posted his article to see how people would react to it on the bioware forums, so I would like to see for those of us interested in Mass Effect 3 and the ragers what you think of the article.
