Author Topic: Is there a way to turn the animation off for the bats background?  (Read 4486 times)

I'm just wondering because I have a pretty slow computer.
I could still browse pretty fast but when I scroll, it hangs a bit especially when I have multiple pts tabs open.

I turned off the bats. LOL. I just disabled my javascript in here so the bats are not running now. Downside is that you can't see the emoticons when you hit reply. but it's better. ;)

If you want to turn off your Javascript... Er, I'm using Google Chrome... So just go to the settings and click the show advance settings.. then in the privacy, click the content settings.

There'll be pop out there. Cookies, Images then Javascript. that's what you want, click manage exceptions. Add You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and click the right box and hit block then ok. After that, go back here and refresh your screen. :)

The bats will be gone then.

I use that cause my laptop is slowing down. I haven't upgraded my laptop's memory so it's really slow. Hope that helps! I don't know in Firefox though since I uninstall my FF. :)

Here's what to do for IE, to turn off the Javascript. I tried it and it works: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

In Mozilla: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Thanks Lex  :), even though the bats were cute to start with my laptop just couldn't keep up with them - it's working MUCH better now  :)
