I liked the first book but didn't manage to read the second book as I got bored.
i loved first book and second, but third one was way to rushed and it lost its point along the way -_-
Oh ok! Do you think.I should give the second book another chance?
Hm, depends if you like cliffhangers. First book didn't have serious one, but second book does. *if you call that stuff cliffhanger*But i mainly liked it even more than the first one, except the third, i felt betrayed reading it (it is like author wanted to finish the book as soon as possible and some stuff were left totally "why-the-hell-did-you-put-that-thing-here-because-it-didn't-have-point-in-the-end-scenes"
Or it could be because the main characters were the kind of people I hated. Not that they were poorly written but I hated their personalities; Katniss is soooo thick and Peeta is a friggin stalker.
I agree with you and yes, peeta is certified stalker level A+++++
Since I only read the first book, I wouldn't know if he changes or not but from what I remember, he was all like "You haven't noticed but ever since that one time we met, I've been following you around and watching you for all these years."Seriously? WTF, YA novels? Do teen girls now get off on psychos and unhealthy weirdos?
it reminds me of hush hush, because Patch is also a stalker Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents., and you have very irritant main heroine which fell for psycho =_=, so yeah it seem it is a new generation of stalker YA novels
I blame Edward. He is the reason why so many think co-dependency is love. It's not love! It's mental illness.
That's the funniest thing I've seen in weeks! I have to admit, I liked Twilight when I was in middle school. Heck, I still like it now. No BS. It's not the best book nor is it that well written but it makes for a distracting read that isn't painful to think about. I can honestly say I like it better than the Hunger Games (YES! I SAID IT! WHAT NOW?) just because I don't outright HATE the characters. Bella is weak-willed and makes bad choices but at least she realizes what's going on around her unlike Katniss who couldn't even tell that Peeta had a obsession with her after all he did. And yes, Edward is just as much as a creepy stalker as Peeta but Edward is a vampire over a hundred years old that lost his mind back when he was reborn and went on a killing spree before; he's expected to be a freak. What is Peeta's excuse?
mwahahahahhaaha xDI didn't, i still hate twilight, couldn't get past first movie. I want to give books a chance *only to say i read it and to give them lowest scores possible*Agreed, xD Hm.......Peeta's excuse...................like "i fell in love with an alien Katniss and i decided to stalk her to death"
I suppose I only like it since I read it back before I got a better taste in books and so the book gives off positive vibes to me. I can understand all the hate on Twilight and agree with a lot of it but I still can't help but like it. It's like having a little brother that ticks you off all the time and acts like an idiot; just because you know all of his faults doesn't mean you grow to hate him. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I do dislike Twilight but I still love it. How's that for confusing? If Peeta was a real person, Katniss's mum would have slapped him with a restraining order already, doesn't matter if he doesn't mean any harm.
I didnt like THG. Katniss was the wrong person to tell the story. Her POV was VERY limited. the story could have been so much better if we could get the reaction of friends and foe's alike as the games began.Good idea mediocre book.
