Fifty shades of grey EL Elliot
« on: April 01, 2012, 05:41 PM »
I have just finished reading the trilogy of Fifty Shades of grey and I must say it is maybe the best I have read in a long time . The characters are beautifully presented , and you are able to get into their emotions and feel as they do :)
The story is WOW ... It touches bdsm but in a way it brings a new light into the matter  ... It also gives a lot of ideas to spice up our daily life :) I would recommend it to every woman , it will open your heart and open your mind as well ;) and why not to men as well so they can learn some new tricks :)
After reading these books there was nothing I tried that kept my interest so far :)
Please tell me your opinion too
Hugs all , be happy :)

It's similar in that there is a very alpha male/dominant billionaire and his beautiful submissive, but Eva is not the naive virgin that Ana was.

Both Gideon and Eva are flawed, damaged, and strong in their own ways.  It's powerful and a roller-coaster of a relationship but not so heavy in the BDSM.  Their's is just a strong and emotional relationship.  I love it.

Another series that is fantastic but way more into the BDSM (if that's what you're looking for and/or are into) is the "Up in the Air" series by R.K. Lilley, which is also a trilogy and is already complete, whereas the Crossfire series by Sylvia Day still has one more installment due, which will be published June 4, 2013.  I am nearly done with the third book, "Grounded" by R.K. Lilley.  It's so good.

Thanks!! :) I'll definitely buy Sylvia Day series and I'll take a look at R.K. Lilley series :) Hope to find it into kobo store!!

Love the book. I was drawn by its cover so I read.. And it's so worth it.. Gah! This book is the reason why I love my male heroes to be an alpha male..  8)

I thought the writing of Fifty Shades of Grey, Darker and Freed totally sucked. It was like a 5 year old wrote it.  Grey.....Christians POV and Darker Christians POV was written by a totally different person. Those 2 were well written.
