A Song of Ice and Fire.
« on: November 11, 2012, 10:14 PM »
So I have been around here for some time now and I was surprised to see one of the most critically acclaimed works not to be here!
Lets discuss here about the series. Are there even any readers out there?

lol  we are here   ( some of us are meant to be working)  I ave read them  Loved them  though the last 2 were not the best of his works,  I am hoping they set the scene for the next one  due out...... not sure when   as I think it has been delayed a few times

My favourite charactor has to be the Imp    he has personality   though I think he has had a hard time of it lately and is a little more down than ususal.    I was actually rooting for his marriage to work  as I think he needs to be loved  and would have a large heart to give love in return.

Never really been into Fantasy books like this before   but have to say  they have kindled an interest
I am not a complete idiot, some parts are missing    :)

The imp is even GRRM's favorite. What i liked was this was not made ON fantasy, but it uses fantasy to develop the actual story and that this isn't like some fairytale where all goes well, but it is more realistic. The last two were expected to be like that, but his writing style was still good.
And don't be hopeful about The Winds of Winter, that guy surely likes to take up his time.

We readers keep rereading, and waiting, and reading the new shorts.

I have problems with getting a favorite. We all know what keeps happening to them.

there is a thread opened recently about asoiaf: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I think it would be better to have all the discussion in one single thread.

I'm afraid it's my fault.  :'(
It was an "old" post an the site "suggest" to open a new thread in those cases, so that's what I did. As an afterthrough I decided to add my two cents here too, focusing in something different this time. I agree it has ended being confusing.  ???
Sorry, I will be more careful in the future  :(
