Move over Robin Cook and Tess Gerritsen

You have competition!

I just finished Gary Birken's Code 15 which just recently was published.  Gary Birken's is a Paediatric Surgeon in Florida who has written 5 books as a hobby.    I am a big fan of medical mystery/thrillers and found this book to be a fast paced exciting read.  It deserves all 5 stars.   The ending was a complete surprise.  This is his fifth book and now I am on a hunt to find his others.

As the Chief of Emergency Medicine at Dade Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Morgan Connolly faces death and suffering on a daily basis. So when two brothers in her care suddenly die from far advanced meningitis, she is devastated but understands as a doctor, she has to let it go. Not long after, Morgan's own father is killed in what seems to be a random attack. At the same time, the number of patients dying due to devastating but seemingly preventable medical mistakes—also known as a Code 15—begins rising dramatically throughout the hospital.

Please excuse any spelling errors.   I have dyslexic fingers!

Thanks for that review.  I'll definitely put it in my "to read" list :)
