Review Your BOOKS HERE!
« on: March 19, 2013, 01:27 PM »
REVIEW IT HERE!!!
Have a book that was just incredible that you want to tell the whole world about?! Maybe you thought it was terrible and want to warn everyone away from it!

Well here is your chance to let it out! Don't hold back on what you thought we really want to know.

We want this to be a place to discuss books, to plan on reading books together, to talk about the writers, and or anything and everything about books!

AUTHORS if you would like to have your book reviewed please add it here with a link to where we can find it! I am going to try and read every book someone adds to this thread. (Be kind to me)

When Posting about a book Please CHANGE THE SUBJECT LINE to the name and Author of the book.

I am starting the thread out with a book we are starting this Friday!

Book of the Week = BoTW
How to Lead a Life of Crime by Kirsten Miller  - 3/22

Review: Fractured (Slated #2) by Teri Terry

Fractured (Slated #2) by Teri Terry 3.5 :star:

so finally here is my review...

My expectations were pretty high but sadly they weren't met. It took me a long time to process this book, I found it too overwhelming since lots of things were going on. The beginning was definitely a drag. Despite all the flaws the build up and revelation of secrets and past made for an engaging read and kept a desire to follow the story to its next level.

Review: Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright

Feral Sins  by  Suzanne Wright  ::) ::)?

It was good, fast, the story was nice and exciting, i loved Tryan's character she was hilarious and Trey was ur typical alpha male all growling, glaring, biting  there was always something going which was good it kept things from being boring, and as u expect in any shapeshifter book there was a lot of sex but the thing that made me pause was when Trey did something that was so out of character it ruined the whole story build-up for me, i mean here was a man that was all possessive and protective of his mate he couldn't stand anyone touching or being near her for that matter and then suddenly
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
it was a cheap thrill the story didn't need it and it left me wondering what to rate it.

After Math (Off the Subject #1) by Denise Grover Swank   :star: :star:

I seem to be in a 2 star book slump. So this book from the very beginning had me thinking Beautiful Disaster. I was really hopeful. Then I wasn't. The juice just wasn't there. All the delicious in between parts that mold the story into something wonderful and take you for that long awaited ride just never happened in this book. I was left feeling like I needed more to it. That it was just in reach of becoming a great story and being told well and then --^------------ FLAT LINE! But there was never any revival for it.

Hmm that was kind of harsh lol Maybe I need more chocolate before I write another review. But at least I am reading again!

 :iagree:

COMPLETELY AGREE! It was bizarre wasn't it? I read this book awhile back but as soon as I saw your post title I remembered it and exactly what happens. I've got no problem with that genre of book,  it's just not usually my personal reading preference. But I just thought it was so strange in this book. Totally didn't fit in with where you thought the characters and plot were heading!

yea I love this series, and the TV show is just as good.
I dont like A feast for crows as much as the first 3 books either, its slow
and too many new POVs. I miss Daenerys, shes my fave along with Jon and Tyrion, Arya ( OK most of the Good guys are my faves)
lol. Im only half-way through. But will somebody kill Cersei  already and put me outa my misery?! Hate that evil power-hungry cow! >:(
