Contemporary or Historical?
« on: September 05, 2012, 07:17 AM »
I think it relies on the theme!

For me it’s contemporary when I read m/m romance, simply because in a historical they can’t be out and proud and I like the flamboyant gay characters make their appearance.

But I also liked Katie MacAlister’s Noble series all the 3 books are historical.

I would never read a m/m historical ( Well….not likely) But as the saying goes…never say never, right?

So, I’m curious as how you think about it.

LOL, yeah. I'm really not that fond of old English. So I mostly stayed away from Historical books. :confounded:

But historical aren't bad. I know few very good authors of those. In fact I think that I like both - even if contemporary are easier to read.
