It would be awesome if anyone could help with this!  ^-^

"My older brother died a year ago on the night of graduation. The only person I feel understands is his best friend. We find comfort in each other the night of the funeral, on his birthday and on the anniversary of his death. Otherwise he ignores me. I know he is going to break my heart. "

This is the only part of the book's summary that I know :(

Alexandra's older brother died the night he graduated. That day changed everything for her. No longer was she the party girl. No longer did she care about being popular and no longer was her family the happy unit she always thought existed. The only person who could help her heal is the same person who loved her brother as much as she did, his best friend. She only hopes to keep her entire heart from breaking when Jesse will move on, and she knows he will.

After Ethan died, Jesse excelled at basketball, partying, and girls. He used it all to turn his emotions off, but the irony was that Alex was the only person who could do that for him. She helped him forget, but she was the one person he shouldn't be with because the secrets he knows could shatter everything. They could shatter her.

Anyone knows which book has such a summary??   ^-^  :)

"I am spending time in jail for a crime I didn't commit, so I pass the time by showing the inmates I am the baddest of them all. But at night I teleport away to spend time with family and keep a watch over my girl. "

Ok, I'm wondering who the author and title and maybe the serie name is of this book.
I read it a while ago. It is part of a serie. I didn't read the first part and i know there were more after it. But I loved the second book, but couldn't find the first one in the serie, so I deleted it. And now I'm regretting it, because now I have more resources to find it.
In the second book she is the sister of the first books heroine. It has something to do with a prophecy. She is really stubborn and curious. I think that they found out in the first book that werewolves exist. And now in the second book she is trying to proof that vampires also exist. The alpha of the werewolves isn't really happy with this, because she doesn't listen to him and gets herself in all kinds of trouble. I believe that the book starts with her on the graveyard trying to proof that the vampires exist and he is there to save her, or something. I believe that he asks a friend, a vampire, to scare her, so she won't go hunting for vampires anymore. The friend does this, but finds out that she is his mate. After something happens the alpha also realise that she is his mate. In the end they form a triad, a trio, menage relationship.  They encounter some problems with people that try to hurt them, i think.. I really remember the romance part, but the rest is a bit foggy.
It is a menage romance book. I'm at the moment not certain if the guys are also in each other. I doubt it is a siren publishing, because I browsed all the sirens. I believe it is a part of a trilogy, but only one and two were out at that time. The prophecy was a big part of the plot.
I hope you can help me Aunt Aoi!

Hey, the book I'm looking for is about this girl who should've drowned, but didn't while she and a couple of friends were hanging out at an icy lake. She has a friend named Decker, and the blurb says something about how people can hold their breath for 7 minutes before dying, and she held hers for 11 or something. Sorry for the small amount of info, but this is all i can think of. THANKS SO MUCH!
The book you are looking for is Fracture by Megan Miranda
Eleven minutes passed before Delaney Maxwell was pulled from the icy waters of a Maine lake by her best friend Decker Phillips. By then her heart had stopped beating. Her brain had stopped working. She was dead. And yet she somehow defied medical precedent to come back seemingly fine. Everyone wants Delaney to be all right, but she knows she's far from normal. Pulled by strange sensations she can't control or explain, Delaney finds herself drawn to the dying. Is her altered brain now predicting death, or causing it?

Then Delaney meets Troy Varga, who recently emerged from a coma with similar abilities. At first she's reassured to find someone who understands the strangeness of her new existence, but Delaney soon discovers that Troy's motives aren't quite what she thought. Is their gift a miracle, a freak of nature-or something much more frightening?

Need a little help. I cannot remember the author or the title of this book and it's driving me crazy   >:(

It's a young adult novel. A girl starts at a new high school and becomes friends with the popular jock guy who has a nasty popular girlfriend. He catches the girlfriend cheating at a party and later begins dating the new girl. Further on the ex girlfriend claims to be pregnant with his baby and lies about how far along she is so she can have him back. The new girl finds out the truth and the actual baby daddy wants nothing to do with it.

That is all I remember about this book so any help with figuring it out would be appreciated   :)

Hey Wott,

I think its Fracture by Megan Miranda. Heroine's name is Delaney and something about drowning in Maine Lake. Tell me if I'm correct or not.

Oh Asen Oak has figured it out. I didn't see the post. Well I'll try to look for the others.

Hey guys... do you remember anything significant about the blurb of the book. It really helps the search... put it in your posts please.  ;D

Hi, I hope someone can help me.
I'm looking for two books.
Both of them are either Mills & Boon or Harlequin.

The first book is about a woman that used to be deaf until she had an operation, she studied law and became a lawyer.
While working one day she saw a boy in the middle of the street confused by all the traffic, she realized that he was also deaf and scolded his dad, which turned out to be an important client at her firm. He later told her boss that he will not be doing business with them unless her boss allows her to work for him as the boy's nanny. The boy's mother was a famous actress but did not want to associate with her child because she viewed his disability as a disgrace, however, when the woman took the boy to her doctor for the same operation she had and it was successful his mother suddenly wanted to do interviews with him to boost her career.

The second book is the first of a series, I think it's three books but I only remember two.
The book is about a former marine biologist that was injured in a shark attack on TV. One day she decides to take a walk on what looks like a deserted property, when suddenly she is attacked by a man. The man turns out to be the body guard of the crown prince of some small island.
The prince watched the news and decides to go back home, for some reason the lady goes with him. On their way the prince gets abducted by his own people and is made king. The island has a law where if a person agrees to marry someone it's as good as actually getting married, the king tricks the lady this way but in the end its fine, and she builds a clinic for re-constructive surgery and watches the dolphins play

Any help will be appreciated  ;)

Hello there friendly peeps,

I think its a fairly new book, i read one of the descriptions recently while browsing.

Its a Historical Romance, about a girl watching the guy having intercourse with one of the maids. He sees her then follows her and they have a confrontation, the guy is to wed her younger sister as apparently her "season" is up. The guy naturally is peaked by the girl and wonders if he chose the wrong sister.

Also, does anyone when know Hot Ticket from Olivia Cunning is coming out?

Thanks so much and i bid you all a lovely evening.

Ok, a new one. I know I have it in my booklist somewhere but can't find it (it's almost 3000 books in there) because i can't remember the titel or author.
It is a book from I think last year or something. He had an accident, she takes care of him al the time. Their best friends live with them or are almost always there. He has to have a major surgery and they are both pretty anxious for it. The two best friends try to make her life easier. By accident I believe it was they found out that it wasn't an accident that made him a cripple, but that he was hit by someone. And that someone is still stalking them. They are ridiculous rich. One of their best friends is the head of security. There are some moments where they almost have the stalker, but not fast enough. In the mean time he has his surgery which makes that he can walk and feel a lot more. The friends turn out to be a little bit more then just friends. Feelings developed and now they are a quatre. The stalker is a deranged male who believes that he did something wrong, but is completly innocent. I believe the stalker is caught, but shot dead because else he would have killed her and him.
I believe it is an siren book, m/m/f/m, but i'm not sure and can't find it in the list.

Anyone an idea which book it is? It keeps bugging me now I can't find it  :banghead:

Found! Someone in the Siren posts could help me

I read this book probably at least 10-15 years ago.  The book was not a romance novel or erotica, but a novel about a relationship.  For some reason, I keep imagining the heroine sitting on a window seat drinking tea, and also for some reason I think the setting may have been in San Francisco or somewhere near water.  (I may be completely wrong about that since I read close to a book a day.)  I also get the impression that the two live in the same building.

I want to repeat, this is not erotica, there may have been one sex scene, with no details.  I think the two, a man and a woman, may have been friends.  I think the man is gay and possibly his partner dies.  The woman is alone.  I think when the book ends that they are going to try to build a life together, but I would definitely not call it a romance novel.  More of a taking it day by day and companionship thing.

If anyone has a clue, I'd love to find out the title/author of this book.  I've checked every women's literature writer I can think of, who deals with thorny issues.

Yes, I got it from the library and I think it was a new release.  I am referring to the relationship book between a straight woman and a bereaved gay man. There were no explicit sex scenes, or anything like that - no erotica.  It was a relationship that was very difficult to build.  I can't believe I can't even remember the author!  At the time, I read mostly scifi, and not much romance at all.
