I started reading Lauren Oliver's Delirium again, and I am trying hard to like it but NO. It lacks emotion, romance, for my liking.
Now I am reading Book 2 of Laurie Faria Stolarz Touch Novel "Deadly Little Lies" and loved it.
Next in line would be Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, or atleast before the movie comes out.

After resisting for ages due to the whole plagiarism drama when CC was just a fanfic writer, I'm reading the Mortal Instruments series.  I got tired of having it pop up on my recommendation lists at Goodreads.  I just finished the first last night, starting the second today.

I recently read Divergent for the first time, then Insurgent immediately after. I LOVED both books. My boyfriend is reading Divergent (and he's not even a reader). He read from 5pm until 12 am tonight nonstop and he's not done yet. I'm reading Matched by Ally Condie. I have two print copies and I've had them forever. I'm 92 pages in and it's just not wowing me at all compared to just finishing Insurgent. I dont think anything will compare now. Before Divergent, I read One Moment by Kristina McBride which is fantastic. Loved it.

This month I've read :

-Falling under by Gwen Hayes...was somewhat good..but not crazy good.
-The Lover's Dictionary by the one and only David Levithan...finally had time to read that one...Please! Read it!
-Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin...please, do not torture yourself with that thing..how on earth did that became a movie??? haven't seen it yet, and read the book for that, because we all know books are better but I seriously hope the movie is better...hoping the trailers are not lying...I will be pissed if they are.
-I know it's over by C.K. Kelly Martin ...recommendation level: Very good. ;)
-The Water Wars by Cameron Stracher.. NO! Warning: it is not good..at all. And it's coming from a dystopia fan..just please..safe yourself!
-Girl Meets Boy by A gathering of authors, edited by Kelly Milner Halls..it was good, but again, not crazy good.
and the best so far-In The Middle of Nowhere by Julie Ann Knudsen..please buy it! It sooooo good. It's a beautiful debut. You will not want to miss on this one. :D

Currently reading The forest of hands and teeth by Carrie Ryan..and so far is very good, I'm liking it...I'll have the rest of that opinion once I finish it. So 2009, I know, but it's been on my shelf for so long...have you read it? Tell me,please! :)

And I know it may not count, cause I finished it on April 29, but just because it was so good I'll mention it...
What a boy Wants by Nyrae Dawn..PLEASE READ IT! A sequel is coming this very July... this one is CRAZY GOOD! :D

I've seen the movie, and I gotta say that it was kinda good. The actors were excellent (and good-looking too!  ;D) I just didn't like the character of the hero much, it seemed to me like he was a pretty weak character. But still, I think the movie was worth watching. I haven't read the book yet, but I plan to in the future. Is it really that bad?  :(

On a side note, I'm currently reading "A Wicked Lord at the Wedding" by Jillian Hunter and I am LOVING Sebastien Boscastle!  8)

For what I know they changed quite a lot of the book for the movie, that's why I have my hopes up. And yes, even though he looks so handsome in the movie, the main male character is veeeeeeery weak in the book, for soo many reasons. But give it a try, I've seen good reviews of it but I just didn't feel it.  Rachel was UGH! Quoting from my review just after I finished the book "  All I got was a woman confuse and unhappy patronizing a friendship that was clearly unhealthy, going on and off about her decisions and regrets when trying to avoid having regrets who starts to have and affair with her best friend's fiance... great. And after accepting, that yeah, she is actually having an affair with him and she is, indeed, falling in love with him, all you get by reading is..."we made love", "I feel jealous", "We made love" ,"I do not have any say on this", "I kissed someone else", "We made love", " I actually have friends with functioning brains", "We made love", "I don't even like my best friend that much", "We made love"...and so on and on. Like, get a grip! "

And those friends with brains were Ethan and Hillary...tthe only characters that I liked.

But please, read it. You may like it or not. Anything is possible.   :)

I really liked Ethan as a character too. I actually felt bad for him when he got refused in the movie  :o. I was like, "the girl who captures this guy's heart is one lucky girl, indeed". I also find myself looking forward to the movie of "Something Blue" after learning that it will feature Ethan's story.

Anyway, thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas on the book! I think I may read the book sometime in the future (when I finally feel like it).
