Why? Why did I re-read this?

OR Books you wish you haven't re-read.

Sometimes you read again a book and enjoy it as much as the first  time, or even more. But others...

In my case, it happened with the Foundation Trilogy (Isaac Asimov). I loved it when I read it, but when I had a look again, I was sort of dissapointed. In my memory it had a special aura I didn't find again. I wish I didn't re-read it.

The Hobbit, especially when the new movies came out. I remember loving this in middle school, decided to re-read before watching. So disappointed in both movies and book.

Whitney, My Love (Westmoreland Saga #2)by Judith McNaught  >:(

I had it on my fav Book Ever list don't know why, i don't usually read historical, just once in a while. So i was in the mood for something light and re-read it the other day  :-[
I hated the heroine, she was sooo annoying and did a bunch of senseless things and the hero was such a hard character to like, he did things secretly which lead to awful misunderstandings (he thinks she had been with another so he rapes her! and when he realizes she was a virgin he keeps raping her because well, it was already done! >:( ) Horrific!
