Favorite novel to movie/TV series adaptations
« on: May 31, 2012, 12:21 AM »
Hi guys!  :)
Since one of Hollywood's favorite things to do right now is to adapt popular novels into movies or TV series. I thought it would be good idea to ask what your favorite novel to movie/ TV series adaptations are. It can be Ya/ fiction/ fantasy / romance etc..
I'd also like to know what upcoming novel adaptation are you excited about.
Which novel/novel series you want to be made into a movie or TV series.
Which actor/actress you want to portray the characters.
Which is your least favorite novel adaptation.

You could have more than one favorite or least favorite.

If people say they just love the smell of books, I always want to pull them aside and ask, To be clear, do you know how reading works?

LOTR is, hands down, the best books to movies for me. I saw the Stephanie Plumb movie and it was pretty decent. Not great, but good. I haven't read the books though. They don't seem like my cup of tea. I'm not a huge KH fan, but I do like her in movies. Maybe because I adored her in My Father the Hero so I'll give anything with her in it a chance. The Twilight movies aren't great at all. I only liked the books because of Jacob, but I think the movies could have been better with a different cast. I also enjoyed the Legend of the Seeker tv series. Again though, I haven't read the books. I did purchase them, but only became aware of the books after watching the series.

It's a different book series but similar to Game of Thrones. They're both fantasy series

I posted that pic of that hot guy with BUTCH across his ass because it was a compliment to Butch and I thought he like Twilight and Edward and jacob he is always talking about m/m with blu, yeah that's my story and I am sticking to it!
